If I saw as you do see, I would have given up a long time ago! Have not you perhaps given up a long time ago? Have you not sometimes said, "To heck with life! I'm tired of it. I have had enough. I don't like the world the way it is. I am tired of my mere survival. I want to exceed survival. I want to enjoy life."

Beloveds, I enjoy. Joy is My calling card. Why are you beleaguered with doubt and anguish, while I am happy, so happy that you cannot even conceive of My great happiness and My Great Vision? I don't know what you really think I'm doing in Heaven and in the world. My heart is happy. I understand that you are unhappy as often as not. I have great compassion for your sufferance, but I do not join in. I live in a sparkling world, and I invite you to join Me. Just a little turn from where you have been looking will turn everything around.

When you stand in one place, you have a certain view. When you look out a different window, you have another view. What is so hard about that? It is very easy to do. Climb up a notch, and the world you see before you will be an entirely different world. Climb up, and leave the desultory past behind you. The world is not locked in space as you are. You have been locked in space, but the world hasn't. Come away from the place you have been standing in immobilized. Mobilize yourself instead.

Let Me initiate you into a passing scene. I ask you to be confident at the same time as I ask you to leave your certainty behind you. Have you not been so sure you were seeing correctly? Did you not once form an opinion, and you have been adhering to it ever since? Unglue yourself from the past. Engage in the Universe from a different point of view. You do indeed have something to learn, beloveds. You are not the know-it-all you have liked to think you were. You must think you would be giving up something if you let go of your past vision and your summation of events. You only emphasize your ignorance. Don't be so sure the world turns as you have thought.

Your thoughts stopped in midstream. You saw the elephant's tail and thought that was the whole elephant. You are sure you would not be so foolish. You are sure that someone else might be, but not you. Beloveds, you have excelled in misperception, and you have come to conclusions that you don't want to let go of. You must think your misconceptions have value. But what possible value can ignorance have except the upcoming awareness that you don't know everything? Have the awareness that you don't know anything at all, and then you will be wise.

You have had, not a passing fancy, but a passing torment. You have adhered to what is not true, and revered your misconceptions. You held them up as if they were the Olympic Torch and as if you were an authority on the world and what makes it tick. You have thought you have held mastery over the world when you have held it in bondage.

Do you see how, when you release yourself from past ignorance, you release the world from its chains? Would you not release the world? Would you not offer it something more than you have? Would you give it a clean slate? Will you let it start from scratch, give it a chance, give it a new lease on life? Why on Earth would you want to hold the world and yourself in abject poverty of joy when you can have all the riches of the Kingdom that do indeed lie within you?
