Making a collage of love (2)

Could you help me with that sentence in HL "Making a Collage of Love":
"Beautiful, beautiful is My Creation. Beautiful, beautiful are you Who are My Creation. I painted a painting of you and blew My painting onto Earth. I gave you beauty. I gave you motion. I gave you yourself, and I gave you free will. I gave you willingly and happily. I gave you to Me to look at. Do you think I don't admire My handiwork?"
I find difficult to translate this little sentence which is of the self referring style. Am I right if I interprete it as: "I made Myself a gift by creating you and I want to look at you." Or is it the opposite: "I made you so you could look at Me"?
Gee!, it's really elliptical.
This translation has to be online for Monday.

Dear Normand, I interpret this sentence as "I gave you to Myself as a present so that I can look at you and enjoy what I see."
So your interpretation of "I made Myself a gift by creating you and I want to look at you." is correct.

It must indeed be special to translate Heavenletters! It must take intuition and a deep level of understanding. No computer can do it.
I can see that this sentence has an awkward structure. God is saying that you are a gift He gave to Himself. He made you for Him to look at, and, of course -- in the next sentence -- to admire. God is very happy with the gift He gave to Himself.
Since the move, when I am connected to the internet, it is very slow, and I have had infrequent access. I am happy to see how well everyone pitches in to help one another.
Because of what I am experiencing with the slow connection, I am asking everyone to really post on the forum or on the blog. It takes a half-hour or more just for the emails to download, and while they are downloading, I can't do anything else or everything freezes, so I just have to wait. Of course, many emails are spam.

And indeed we need intuition and a deep level of understanding to translate them. Because the dynamic of YOU and ME in the language of Oneness is not properly reflected in our human dual languages.
Then there is the "spoken style" of God's word. And it happens that God speeks American through Gloria. So there are some cultural references (commerce, tales, ldiomatic expressions…) for which we don't have any equivalents in other language. Without distorting the original image, we need to find a way of getting the idea through…
But what I have a real hard time with is this reference to Wal-mart's rollbacks. I discovered that the founder of Walmart, "Sam Walton, a businessman from Arkansas, began his retail career when he started work on June 3, 1940, at a J.C. Penney store in Des Moines, Iowa where he remained for 18 month (Wikepedia)". Since you are in Fairfield, Iowa, it must have had some influence…
