Today's Heavenletter #3716 : typo

"You have climbed up the mountain and slide down again and again. You are the peruser of yourself and therefore of Me. "

"peruser" means nothing (I could be wrong, though), I guess "pursuer" was meant here.

Thanks to all,

Jean-Christophe.

This is what I find on

This is what I find on Wordnik http://www.wordnik.com/words/peruse

American Heritage Dictionary (1 definition)

–verb-transitive
1. To read or examine, typically with great care.

Century Dictionary (2 definitions)

1. To go through searchingly or carefully; run over with careful scrutiny; examine throughout or in detail; inspect; survey; scan; scrutinize.

I guess we can say that both

I guess we can say that both words make some sense. Let's wait for Gloria to decide.

Beloved Jean-Christophe, God

Beloved Jean-Christophe, God bless the translators who care so much and, beloved Luus and Jochen, those who respond to the translators who also care so much. The word intended was peruser, the one who peruses, ponders, thinks about a lot.

I did find a typo, however! And that was the verb tense of the word slide. I don't have the excerpt in front of me now. I'll have to come back with the exact words and make it right.

OKay, here it is: "You have climbed up the mountain and slide down again and again. You are the peruser of yourself and therefore of Me."

It should be: "You have climbed up the mountain and slid down again and again."

Beloved Jochen, will you kindly fix this?

Yes.

Yes.

Well, I'll have to invest in a good dictionnary! Thanks for everything!
