Temos então de decidir como dividimos os textos. O Nuno lembrou, e eu reitero a situação de: como acedemos às cartas no inglês original? E havendo antigas por traduzir, temos também de fazermos a divisão para podermos ir começando o nosso trabalho amoroso :)

Good morning, portuguese translators!
We have to decide how are we going to divide the letters. Nuno asked, and I reiterate: how do we have access to the letters on the original english? And, if the are old letters to translate, how are we going to divide them?
Can the translaters from other languages can help us with this? We are now 4 portuguese translators.

It is great to have so many new Portuguese translators!
You do not really have access to the English Heavenletters that are still to be published. However, Theophil sends them to me and I forward them now to the Spanish and Russian translators. It will not be a problem to add the name of one of the Portuguese translators to the emails. The one who receives them can then divide them among you.
Dear Gloria, do we have sufficient Portuguese trnslators to stop sending out the request for more?

1 .Dear Nelia, what is the last Heavenletter you have translated and sent to Luus? Please give the number and the title.
2. Is it correct that there are no other translations after the one you say above?
3. I think we want to let all translators translate some new Heavenletters. We also need a system for back Heavenletters that have never been translated. And also the E-book.

So, dear translators, we have new Heavenletters. We have thousands of Heavenletters that have never been translated. And the FREE ebook. If the Portuguese translators want to get together on Skype or something like that to come to decisions, that's fabulous too. Whatever way works best for you.
I ask you, please, to post the progress here. Then we have a public place where we can find all information, and everything is clear. The Portugal team can also be a model for other new teams that grow so nicely.

Yes, of course, send the advanced available-to-translate Heavenletters to one of the Portuguese translators. Diana, will you be the one?
Luus, I have thought and thought about this. I am of the opinion that if we have four strong translators right now, we could stop for now. We have enough organizing to do..Will four translators be able to accomplish all the back translating -- I believe we're talking about thousands and thousands of Heavenletters? Could be so! Yet maybe it could go faster with a few more. Can you believe how wonderful it would be to have every Heavenletter translated!
I know you know, Luus, yet new translators may not know, that the new Heavenletter you translate today was written down about 5 months ago! These do need to be proofed etc. and we have a simple process for that! When I have proofed a Heavenletter, God's Words are in blue!
Luus, perhaps you would be will to post how you made a plan for the 3 (am I right?) Dutch translators you have now so everyone knows what is theirs to do. Perhaps make it a new page if you're willing.

About the letters
Hi Gloria and Luus!!
I am a little confused right now... I just want to know how can i get the letters in English, where do i put them after i translate.
I don´t know anything about Luis, the other translator, i didn´t speek to him yet and i don´t have his email but i did speak with Diana and i have now her email adress.
I am not sure about what mail you are refering to Gloria but i put the one i talked about the best way of translation but it was deleted and i don´t know why...
heavenletter in Portuguese
Hi Gloria!! i´ve already translated the letter. Just want to tell you about a detail in the translation. I put it in a non formal way, what i mean by this is that i put it in a manner that gives the sensation that you are closer to God when he speaks through this letters, it is difficult to explain, but Nélia will understand what i´m saying. She translates in a diferent way because the brazilian language is a little diferent from the portuguese. But soon as you show it to her she will tell what is best and then i correct it if you want to. I send it as an attachment thank you :)

I am here for two days and i am feeling so so great about all this and about the confidence you are giving to me.(and a little confuse too lolol) I want to thank you from my heart and for giving me this opportunity. I have to be honest about it, i saw in the end of the letters at some time that you were needing translators and my intuition was telling me to go with my feelings,and to accept this adventure, that was of course to help you and everybody that i can, but my mind was playing tricks on me, like " i don´t have time", or someone will do it, they don´t need me" and things like that... now i can´t express properly what i am feeling, just know that this is a door that opened to me, that i am so glad that i enter in it for i am sure this is a great opportunity for my grouth as an individual and as a part of the colective :) Many Blessings to all

Pelo que entendi, para já estamos nós dois, mais o Luís, que ainda não respondeu ao mail que enviei, ao mesmo tempo que enviei para ti. Até lá, estamos nós dois a traduzir. A Nélia está para fora neste momento, mas entretanto volta e vai continuar a traduzir connosco.
A Gloria já colocou uma pequena listagem de textos que precisam de ser traduzidos, e vou pedir ao Luus que mos envie por mail, e depois divido por nós dois. De resto, vamos falando por aqui ou por mail. Pelo que percebi, após traduzirmos os textos, devemos coloca-los num post que existe especificamente para isso aqui no forum. Se precisares, falamos por skype, ok?

Muito obrigado diana! Olha mandei um mail ao Luís k faz parte da nossa equipa. Eles quer traduzir mas diz k o tempo dele é irregular k pode em 2 semanas traduzir 10 cartas. Ainda não lhe respondi e s calhar espero para saber qts textos o Luus vai enviar. Mas d qq maneira não sei cm se pode encaixar a disponibilidade dele aki. O K devemos fazer?

Ainda bem que o Luís respondeu :) Olha, penso que o melhor é guardarmos que a Luus envie os textos, dividimos entre os três, com mais peso entre nós dois, que devemos ter mais disponibilidade. Depois, pedimos para ter acesso a outros textos, que te parece?
Entretanto, a Nélia deve chegar e já nos ajuda a aceder aos outros textos.
Ainda há o livro gratuito para traduzir também, e podemos ir dividindo o livro também :)

I was only away for 20 hours
I was only away for 20 hours and found 47 messages all of you in my mailbox. Nice to see your messages in Portuguese, I can understand most of it. Nuno do not despair, it is not so complicated once you know how it works, and right now I am busy with bringing new translators bring up-todate.
In the meantime I forwarded all new Heavenleters to Diana and also the numbers she asked for.
I do not have much time right now and may not have later today and tomorrow, but I had a look at the Portuguese translations. There are "only" 330 which means 4,770 still to be translated :-) so you may keep yourselves busy.
Gloria, I will respond to your post after the weekend for I will have two boys staying with me who will keep me and my computer busy.

Hi everybody!! Where do i put the letters that are already translated?? thank you
You post your translations
You post your translations under the Portuguese translations, which can be found by clicking "Community" and then "Translations", or your click "Community", then "Heavenletter Spiritual Community Forum", where you scroll down to Heavenletters Portuguese. When you are logged in, you will see "post new forum topic", click there and paste your translation in the body. You need to post the title in "Subject", then click "submit", and that is all.
I will then receive an email notification and keep it in a file until I send your translation out.
There is no need for translators to put "translated by ..... "at the bottom of the Heavenletter, for if you post it on the forum yourself, your name will automatically appear.

I wonder if it is possible
I wonder if it is possible, Luus -- and, of course, you understand these details, and I don't -- it would be so much simpler for translators, especial eager translators, to just send them when finished and have it off their minds. Could this be worked out? I know you are a strong caring translator yourself. If you can figure out a way to accommodate those, who like you, translate ahead of time, where they could be done with it, that would be such a gift to them.

Beloved Nuno, I know how caring and flexible you are and happy to cooperate. Let's see what Luus can come up with. If she can, she will.
The way I see it, Nuno, Luus, Santhan, William, all administrators and I, work for the sake of translators. And we all do the best we can. We are all on the same side.
It is my understanding that when the new website etc. upgrade is done, all of this will change anyway! My understanding is that every translator will be able to easily and automatically send their translations on to a queue, and you will be able to send your translations to the queue whenever you are ready and they can be off your mind so you can translate another Heavenletter!
Translators are serving the subscribers, and that's how it goes. We are all serving God! We are not even individuals any more, if you know what I mean.

Dear Gloria, I have given it some thought and you are absolutely right that it should be possible for those who wish to do so, to post their translations right after they are done. What does it really matter if someone reads it before the publishing date? I should be a little more flexible in this.
Will write down what is of interest for (new) translators and hopefully everything will be okay then.

This doesn't mean that Portuguese subscribers will receive more than one translation a day? We don't want that! One Heavenletter a day is a lot for many subscribers.
Do you mean that when a translators' translation gets sent to where you say then it automatically goes out? There is no queue to wait in? Could there be another address where good people who translate ahead can send their ready translations without going out too soon?
I sure don't want to make more work for you, dear Luus. You are doing plenty.

No, Gloria, I only send one
No, Gloria, I only send one translation per day, except today, for I received the Portuguese translation of today's Heavenletter around noon and thought maybe it would make subscribers happy to receive it on the day the English Heavenletter was published. Will not make it a habit though.
Maybe I better wait with sending out the Portugese translations till noon, for there is a 3 to 5 hours time difference (depending on the season) between Western Europe and Brazil.
If translations are posted before the publishing date only visitors to the website will be able to find them in the "old" system.

Today or tomorrow I hope to post all information that translators may need. I will also ask to post your translations in two places: the old system where you post them now, and in the new system under the English Heavenletter. Wait till you see it, and if you then have more questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Beloved Luus, did I say that, did I? I do see how open you are, dear one, and open on the forum. That is a beautiful thing. My friend, honest, I never thought you were a perfectionist. I kinda thought that you and I were everybody! We see through our individual perception. We have our leanings. We're all different, and we're all alike.
You are very efficiency-oriented. Thank God you are. This is one of your great strengths.
I am very feeling-oriented. I will also consider this as one of my strengths.
So when we work with new translators, I am inclined to think how important it is that we help translators to be comfortable and happy in their service to God, while you could be thinking more about how we can make everything more efficient.
I happen to know your big heart, dear Luus, and I also am not opposed to efficiency. We are both working heart and soul for Heavenletters as best we know how.
Luus, I like to think we are a blessing to each other as we begin to think and share and expand in new ways.
