The connotation of on a dime means very fast. A dime offers so little space, the action would have to be fast.
I will change the word do to dance.

Nuno, a dime is the smallest American coin in size. It is worth a tenth of a dollar and is slightly smaller than a penny, which is worth a hundredth of a dollar, because it used to be made of silver.
