Heavenletter #4735 The Bell Ringer of Enlightenment
Posted October 5th, 2013 by Luus
Dear Gloria,
"It is true that sometimes I come in and shake the bell for you and yet how wonderful when you stay My hand and say:"
I wonder whether "stay My hand" is correct or should it read "take My hand"?
Thanks.
Luus

You ask a good
You ask a good question,
Here is more of the context;
God said:
It is true that sometimes I come in and shake the bell for you and yet how wonderful when you stay My hand and say:
“God, My Father, My Mother, let me serve You. May I anticipate every act of Yours and serve You. You have served me so much, I want to serve You. My heart is full and wishes to express itself. Of course, I want to serve You.
“What would mean as much to You, God, as my ringing the bell of my own enlightenment? Of course, I recognize that enlightenment isn’t something that belongs to me. It belongs to You. Surely, I can help you out. I can anticipate Your wishes. I can appear and serve You a glass of water before You tell me. I can take a hint. I can take initiative. I can anticipate Your requests. Right now You request that I open my eyes and see myself in the light that You do. What does it take for me to become self-realized but to realize my Self? You are my Self waiting in the wings of this theater.
“You want me to step right up and claim my award.
“God, You are my award, only I have to stride across the stage and accept the award You have long held for me.
“Certainly, I can go right up to You and accept the award You have long desired me to have.
“It is Your happiness that I claim Your Light so that I can serve You with greater strength and greater Light. Above all, my desire is to serve You. May I return to You some of the favor You have given to me and filled me with?
“I shine in your bright light. This is enlightenment. I accept the light You have given me. I accept gladly the gifts You gave to me from the moment I was conceived. You are my Creator, and I accept the Badge of Honor You placed in my heart so long ago. You already anointed me, dear God. I am Your Anointed, and, in Your name, I accept.”
When I look at this long quotation after what you pointed out, I immediately think:
Who in his or her right mind would stop God's Hand from enlightening him or her?!!!
But then God is making the point that we don't have to wait for Him to come to us to annoint us. We can go right up to God.
I am sure I heard God say "stay My hand." If we should change it to the softer "take My hand," would we be undercutting the specific point God is making?
Luus, I'm thinking aloud, I am sure you realize. Okay, so I suppose it would be like this: God has a beautiful tray of food for us, and He is going to serve it to us. And then Santhan stays God's Hand and says: "Here, God, let me carry this tray for you."
I think we just have to go with "stay."
Beloved Luus, this brings up another question for me. Thinking in terms of posterity, I wonder if it's a good idea to think of a way behind the scenes to keep such good questions like yours here that come up organized somehow, like archives, so that in a thousand years, let's say, when someone asks the same question as you, there is at least a record of your question and an answer to discuss rather than nothing and just leave it up to a scholar. This way he would have a point of departure. Hmm, this is an idea that just occurred to me.
What do you think?
Love, Gloria
P.S. In rereading this Heavenletter, I added a question mark! I also took the liberty, in the first part of what is quoted above, to add the word God so the transition from God speaking to our speaking is very clear. Wanted you to know, dear angel.
Luus, I just went to the
Luus, I just went to the Heavenletter itself. I couldn't find where to put that question mark I had thought of. I wonder if I added a question mark that doesn't belong there? If so, will you kindly correct it? Thanks.
Dear Gloria, Thanks for your
Dear Gloria,
Thanks for your extensive explanation, but I had no idea until this moment how to translate "stay My hand". In the meantime I found the right word, so problem solved.
With regard to your idea of making a kind of archive for these questions, I don't think it is worth all the work it would mean for Santhan.
Love,
Luus
Hi, Luus! I didn't mean a
Hi, Luus! I didn't mean a formal thing at this point nor more work for beloved Heaven Admin! I suppose if this forum is kept, your question and the answer I gave to it are archived. I also thought that maybe someone could informally take such vital questions and keep them in one place, and some day we could something more official. Of course, you're right, this isn't something that matters today. Love you, Gloria
Hi Luus and Gloria, I wrote
Hi Luus and Gloria,
I wrote a comment here but the site didn't accept it, and made me go back to login, so I won't write it all again. I just wanted to say that these questions and answers are very useful for my translations. I also check the translations in other languages, when there is some expression I don't understand. But for some reason I can't find the French translations anywhere anymore; they used to be very helpful.
Love,
Paula

Hi Paula, I know for sure
Hi Paula,
I know for sure that Normand posts his translations way before the
publishing date and you should be able to find them using the url in the
emails.
Since you translate Heavenletters after they are published, you might go to
the English Heavenletter, log in, and you will find all translations under
translations. If you then choose one French translation, you will be able to
access all recent French translations by going to the next or the previous.
If this does not help, ask Normand to send them to you, which Theophil does
to me.
There is a problem with the French translations. Normand does posts them but
they do not appear under the French translations. He did report the problem
to Santhan twice, but Santhan is too busy and needs a volunteer to solve all
problems on the website.
Love to you,
Luus
Beloved Luus and Paula,
Beloved Luus and Paula, there is something else Heaven Admin is working on, and that is availability of all the languages as forums just like the English forum where every translated Heavenletter will be available on line just the way the English ones are Heavenreaders in all the languages we have translators for will be able to comment etc. This will be wonderful.
I also like where translators post their translations presently. It is quick and easy to see an entire list without having to scroll so much etc.
There will be a web-site upgrade coming up as soon as we can.
I think that is smart what you do, Paula and Luus, to see how something is translated in other languages. That you do this shows your intention to stay as closely to God's meaning as humanly possible.
Heaven and I have been working on the idea of a Translator E-zine. It seems timely. There will be an email going out and a post of the email on the Global Translator column as well. The energy generated with such an ezine will surely make translators individually and collectively more cohesive and powerful, and increase the outreach of Heavenletters and the numbers of subscribers dramatically. It's time.
Love, Gloria
The forum information will
The forum information will also be migrated. No problem there. All the useful questions regarding translations will be available after the upgrade.
About the posting of translations in two places, that's an inefficient system, but it's the only one we have now until we redesign it.
The migration and upgrade is a 3 month project with many layers that will require a team of at least 3 people. This website has grown huge and so has the Heaven community and the numbers of readers since the 6 years that have passed after the upgrade of the previous static website.
Right now, I'm not able to volunteer the time to even manage the upgrade project.
Gloria, could also do with an administrative assistant to take care of the many many things that get lost somewhere in the todo pile.
The plan is to focus on E-Books and generate revenue for Heavenletters so that we can hire people to help out. Gloria has said so many times how she wants to thank the volunteers who have helped bring Heaven this far.
I suggest opening a forum post asking for ideas about how to generate revenue for Heavenletters. Our creative community will be sure to come up with many strong ideas. We have an abundance of the highest quality raw material to create products with!
Thank you, beloved Heaven
Thank you, beloved Heaven Admin.
For people to volunteer to help with the upgrade, what skills must they have?
Who could take your place, Senor?
I love the idea of focussing on ebooks! Oh, gosh, do we have bushels of raw material.
In regard to an assistant, interestingly, this morning I came across a delightful phrase in the Heavenletter I was proofing, It was:
If the premises you come from were true, then a baobob tree would bear apples.
And, spontaneously, I wrote to a loyal Heavensubscriber asking if she would consider filing such categories and content of potential ebooks. I have a bunch of quotations that make me smile, and finding them can be hit or miss. Perhaps, rather than an assistant, just people taking care of certain areas. Great minds, wunluv.
I would love to see the translators who have given so much be rewarded. This is a dream. We would need beaucoup dollars in order to begin to pay translators and all. We once spoke of being able to treat translators to a trip to somewhere where we would all meet, maybe have a Godwriting workshop etc. To have the financial resources for this seems far away. To be self-supporting for basic expenses seems far away. Already I am starting to feel a weight on my shoulders for what at present we don't have the means to fulfill. I would like to wait to mention anything like this until we have the means.
I love how volunteers have come here from their hearts. That seems to be key. For instance. I would not ever want to induce new translators to come to translate Heavenletters because of salary. I am not comfortable with the idea of Heavenletters' becoming a business.
It's a good idea for someone to open the topic of fund-raising on this forum. Perhaps also a letter to all subscribers, Heaven Admin.
Love, Gloria
Dear Gloria, I wonder where
Dear Gloria,
I wonder where the idea comes from that we translators need to be rewarded and paid. I for one do not want to be paid for now it is of my own free will that I translate and do other things, but if I would be paid it would mean that I would be obliged to continue to do the work that I do, and so I would be bound. It might even be a reason for me to quit.
Love,
Luus
Well, dearest Luus, it well
Well, dearest Luus, it well might not happen in our lifetimes, so you can't leave!!! I understand very well what you are saying. It changes something in the heart, doesn't it?
God bless you, dear sister.
How can we not agree with
How can we not agree with you Luus? Heavenletters is a gift we receive and our reward is to give it as well in the best way we can serve.
Who could not love the
Who could not love the translator angels. Who could not want to give to them. You are indeed a gift.
