I would prefer to make this: You!
8th paragraph: What is to prevent it but some thought of yours.
Should there not be a question mark after yours?
13th paragraph: ....Have you perhaps said; "Just another day,"...
Should this not be: "Just another day", ... ?

Regarding first paragraph, the period does correctly come before the quotation mark! 13th paragraph is the same as well. Those are correct as given. Later I'll look for a way to verify this so you don't have to take my word for it.
8th paragraph, yes, you are absolutely right. There needs to be a question mark.
I'd better go to the Heavenletter itself to determine whether we want the exclamation mark or not. That is, of course, a matter of choice. Let's see!
Okay, beloved Luus, this Heavenletter, #3530, has a new title. It is no longer This Day because that was a title already used. The new title now is Unlike Goldilocks.
This is important that this came to our attention. How do we now communicate to translators when a pre-published Heavenletter title is changed? Or any correction. [Jochen, what do you think is the solution here? Most translators don't have access to the list of pre-published Heavenletters.] Because you posted, Luus, we caught something that we had not thought of!
As for the exclamation mark after You I do see what you mean. I kinda feel that God would say this calmly rather than excitedly! I would leave it as it is. God has used exclamation points, but rarely.
Now I will add the question mark where it belongs.

I'm not surprised that the title has been changed, for I could sense it when I was translating.
However, I have never heard of Goldilocks and only you Americans may be familiar with him (?). Couldn't you find a more neutral title?
The solution may be to from now on check the title before starting translating, and why should I not do that?
As for the quotation marks, we don't put periods and comma's inside quotation marks, so we'll just have to do what applies for us.
Duplicated TITLES
I think that this issue could be taken care of by our dear HeavenAdmin. Since this Web site is engined by a relational (multi-)database, the title field of the Heavenletter can be set to reject any duplication (we call that "unique entry"). This would definitely and easily solve the problem.

since it might still be easy to create an almost "new" identical title by skipping only one article -the title field would see the entry as different_then it would be safer to create a searchable table with only the title list field. Then Gloria would only have to do a standard double or triple search with two or three keywords like FIND word1 & word2 &... (word3). She would then obtain a list of titles which would help her make a decision for a different title.

"Unlike Goldilocks" is nine days from now. I changed the title on Wednesday when it was eleven days ahead. Perhaps we could keep advance translations to five or so days. And since translators probably check the list of unpublished Heavenletters frequently, perhaps they can watch out a little for changed titles.
Corrections in a pre-published HL are unlikely; at least I don't make any since I never read them before their publication date.

The thing is that those translators who like to translate ahead of time get the Heavenletter long before the publication date. I may be mistaken. Theophil will know. My understanding was that as soon as he sent the latest Heavenletter to the hidden queue on the website, he also sent it to the participating translators.
Re titles, beloved Luus, it has happened only rarely that a title seems to come from God along with the words of the Heavenletter. Once in a blue moon, God gives the title before the Heavenletter -- obviously, this is not the case with this Heavenletter! Mostly I choose a title by feel. Sometimes I type in a title, and, for reasons beyond my knowing, I can't leave it there. I have to find another one and put it up. I have to type it before I know if it's "okay!"
What you are bringing up is important, dear Luus, and I had better think it through. What will it mean if an English and Dutch Heavenletter have different titles? Then will other languages also have a different title? How bad is it if a title is obscure to a reader in a particular language? How many times shall I change a pre-published title?!! There are probably other considerations I haven't thought of yet.
Just as an aside, sometimes it is so easy for me to pick a title, and sometimes it isn't easy. I love all the titles in the Heaven book but I had weeks to consider and reconsider the titles for the book. For many of those, or all, the title of the Heavenletter in the book is different from the original title -- and, in my opinion, much better.
In real life, I have to be quick in choosing a title, and, sometimes, just of necessity choose a title as best I can in the moment. Because of the search engines, I lean toward choosing a title from words that are within the Heavenletters themselves, but it was a while before I knew anything about search engines and their importance to us.
I think titles are very important, and yet God seems to leave most of the titles to me. He may not have any more imagined time than I do! (Just kidding.)

I don't think it a good idea to have different titles for the same Heavenletter and I will change it into "Unlike Goldilocks".
I was translating Heaven #3531 just now and there are two things:
About in the middle there is a sentence: "To all of you who want change, love more."
I put an exclamation mark: love more!
And I wonder about Mohammedan-like (three paragraphs further on). Would this have been his full name? I only hear about Mohammed, but I do recall that when I was young we used to call moslems mohammedans. I asked two moslems but they have never heard of Mohammedan. If you speak of Christ, Buddha, Abraham and Moses, you should also speak of Mohammed, I should think, and not of Mohammedan.

Better not to add exclamation marks, sweetie! Exclamation marks used too often lose their power. Really, it's rare for God to use quotation marks. I am thinking that out of over 4,000 Heavenletters, there are maybe four or five. Not many at all.
You are right about changing titles, of course. We need a system so every translator knows about a change. We need a system that doesn't give too much work to any one person. I am always trying to think: What is the best use of my time? I'm not so good at prioritizing. I'm good at doing what comes in, but, as a result, a lot of what may really be more important doesn't get attended to.

Dear dear Luus, I don't know that God gives me question marks and commas and periods; they are so routine! But often my fingers slip, as they did recently, and I typed a question mark that absolutely didn't belong in one Heavenletter and left a question mark out in another. I do proof several times, but I didn't catch the missing question mark nor the misplaced one when I proofed. So much for my proofing.
I personally am someone who tends to put in lots of exclamation marks! I am one of those people who overdoes it with exclamation marks! But God does not. When He uses one, He really wants it! You know, dear one, Godwriting is not a science. I can only go by what it feels to me. God does not give dictation and say "comma, period, quotation marks" etc. For the most part, punctuation is pretty automatic for me. Rarely too does God use semi-colons, I just realized that. The rare times there is an exclamation mark, I get a niggling feeling about it. If I can leave it in, I take it that God wants it. If I can't leave it in (it doesn't feel comfortable to me) then I take it out.
I have to watch that I don't get caught too much into the details because then I lose the vision of wholeness. Don't misunderstand me. Details are important. I would like everything to be perfect. God may have sent you, Luus, to catch the details for me.
Years ago someone told me that there is a saying in public relations. "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing imperfectly!"
I am not in favor of making mistakes, and yet there are other things I must focus on. Who is going to do them if I don't?!!!!

There isn't anything that Heaven Admin cannot do, yet he takes care of more than any one person can. I ought to be able to pay more attention to the titles I choose and prevent the whole issue. I sure thank you all for your help.

Our beloved Dutch writer of storybooks for children, Annie M.G. Schmidt, who is no longer physically among us, translated it into Dutch!
And what a beautiful book it was!

I don't think it would work very well, dear Jochen and Normand, for we would only find out after the English Heavenletter had been posted, and all translators would have to change the title. Since I post my translations as soon as I get up in the morning, this would mean that I would need to edit Heavenletters and send them again.
From now on I will search by title whenever I start translating a new Heavenletter and in this way we would know in time.

Luus, there is a simpler way to find out. When the permanent link at the bottom of a new Heavenletter ends on ".html" it means there is only one HL with that title. If the permanent link ends on ".html-0", it means there already is an earlier HL having that title.

Incidentally, this morning, for the proofed Heavenletter being sent to Theophil to properly number it and put it in the queue, I first had the title A God of Love. I had the impulse to check to see if that title had already been used, and, sure enough, it had been.
So before the Heavenletter went anywhere, I had changed the title to From the Valleys of Your Heart. I can do it!

Beloved Berit, I love the title From the Valleys of Our Hearts. I am so blessed to be a part of Heavenletters. I am well aware of that, and yet it is nice to have a reminder from you.
And, yet, choosing a title for one Heavenletter is part of my morning routine. And it becomes a detail, one of many. Every day I am eager to get what I could call the basics done. So, alas, it often becomes something I just do and am glad when it is done. :)
I am going to remind myself now that choosing a title is a thrilling and wonderful and even holy act.
