a question about # 2676
Dear Gloria, I'm sending you 2 new translation and a question about Heavenletter nr.2676: It seems to me one „not“ is missing in this sentence: „Your heart does have to choose.“(When you talk how a buterfly has to choose where to land). Let me know, so I can finish that translation, too. Love, daniela
P.s. the paragraph is this:
"Love cannot diminish. Your heart gives its love away, and so your heart is replenished. Like a butterfly, your heart alights. Unlike a butterfly, your heart can alight anywhere. Your heart does have to choose. It does not require sweetness before it alights. Your heart can alight anywhere and everywhere. It will turn whatever it touches into sweetness."
Dear Daniela, I know your
Dear Daniela,
I know your question is addressed to Gloria, but I thought I might answer in the meanwhile. I think that the sentence is correct as it is. God means that we have choice and we always have to choose, because even not choosing is a choice. We can choose to alight anywhere, but we DO HAVE TO CHOOSE.
Love,
Paula

Daniela, I think it is
Daniela, I think it is rather vague. It almost could be taken either way. That there is no choice but to have your heart alight on love, for instance. All things considered, Paula builds a good case, because it does seem to say we don't have to wait for sweetness before love. Maybe we have been, thinking there has to be sweetness before we can feel sweet enough to give. And God is saying, "Don't wait. Choose to love."
Just a note about posting translating questions. Please do respond. These questions are for all of us. So, thank you, Paula, for your answer. And, Daniela, you for your question.
I do wonder what the other translators did with this.
Thank you, Paula and Gloria,
Thank you, Paula and Gloria, I'll just leave it as it is written than. Blessings, Daniela
