willingness to change

Many Worlds of Love

God said:

Why do you resist change so much? Is it because it just wasn't your idea? Perhaps you have forgotten that your ideas are often short-sighted. Perhaps you don't know gold when you see it. Perhaps you sometimes think that what is dross is gold, and only later do you discover that you were mistaken. Later you may recognize what is blessing and what is not. You simply do not always know at the time.

The Direction of Your Thoughts

God said:

In order for you to think differently, you have to think differently. Change your thinking and see what else changes. Changing your thinking means to look at what occurs in life in another way from what you have been accustomed to. In other words, let go, release, upend a view of life that you have held dear. Sometimes, only sometimes, the more you protest, the more that arises for you to protest. It is as if you have called its name, and it comes over to you. Your resolve not to have something you do not want is so strong that you call it to you, and it answers.

Another's View of the World

God said:

You are one who does not welcome resistance when it comes to you. No matter who gives it, you don't like it. And so now it is for you yourself to become resistanceless. When someone says something you don't like, or asks something of you that you feel is inconsiderate, even impertinent, adjourn your resistance, for resistance becomes like a dam that holds what you disfavor. So, then, unless you want to keep what perturbs you, why would you resist it?

Heart and Soul

God said:

The pain in your heart is your heart's knowing that it has cheated itself. Pain in your heart is your heart's knowing that you are meant for more than you have allowed. Even your ego knows that you are far more than you have pretended to be.

A disguise is not comfortable, or not comfortable for long.

If you were your plain self, you would be lighthearted.

You think you have to be a certain way, and you think others do too, and so a cycle revolves.

"Yes, My God, I Will!"

God said:

You are meant for big things. You are meant for greatness. Think great then. Think great now.

Don't scoff.

What greatness were you meant for?

Greatness is not of the world. You know that by now. But yet you can do great things in the world. You do them through Me, and I do them through you.

Your greatness may shine in small things. Many small greatnesses make big ones.

Your greatness may never be noticed. You certainly haven't noticed it. But you are the one to choose your greatness and to honor it.

The Rose of Your Heart

God said:

There is great love within you that has been repressed. When you hold your fist tight, what gift can your hand give or receive? A fist is a closed hand. And your heart became a fist. Somewhere along the way, your heart closed unto itself rather than opening like the rose of its nature.

You cannot make a rose bloom. You cannot take the petals and force them open. But you can encourage the rose to unfurl and to reveal itself. You can let go of your resistance to the rose's blooming.

Your heart is a rose afraid to stand up straight and to open itself to the sun and the rain.

Follow God, He Is Faith

God said:

You moan about the past.

Gloria, you see the months of wonderful Heavenletters based on questions and My answers to those specific questions — and now I interrupt. I say, Put them aside. I interrupt your planned course and give you another, and you hold on and think: "What about all of God's messages written down? Who is going to see them? Where will they go? All of God's beautiful words of love and wisdom…" You long for the world to see them, and you weep for their anonymity.

Infinite Are the Possibilities

God said:

Life is not either/or. You do not have one choice or two. You have many-petaled choices. When you were a child, you took a daisy, and you said with each petal, "He loves me, he loves me not." You left out other possibilities, that he likes you, that he makes you happy, that you like him and you make him happy. Life is many-layered and not so abrupt as "He loves me, he loves me not." Life is much more than one way and not another.

All about Love

God said:

When you have anxiety, it is for no reason. It is always for no reason. I know you feel that something incites your anxiety. No matter what you perceive as the cause, there is no reason to it. It is manufactured. No matter how real-seeming, it is made up. What folly it is to feel anxious. It is no good at all, so what reason can there be to be anxious? Anxiety plays a pretend game. Your mind latches onto a conclusion, a judgment that serves no one. Anxiety serves no one. It wastes heart and mind.

Be Glad When You Are Mistaken

God said:

Let yourself be mistaken. You do not always have to be right. You do not have to be proven right nor do you have to prove someone else wrong. What is changed, beloveds, whether you or anyone is correct or incorrect? Either way, it is a passing fancy. Only to an ego here or there does it matter.

Count your mistakes as great steps to learning. You are on the path of learning. Do not be dismayed because you learned something, even when you did not want to learn it.
