Why I have not been translating. And such.

I just have six minutes before I have to get to work, but I thought I'd stop by and let you all know that I'm not dead - just really busy! Last weekend I was in London, and when I got back I suddenly was given a new job right out of the blue. It is in the communal health sector, and I am helping to take care and help four inhabitants of an apartment complex. They are all either in wheelchairs, or have some mental challenges.
First day at work was yesterday, and my brain felt like it was fried when I got back. So much to learn, and so many things I have never thought of before. It reminds me how blessed we all are, and how little we appreciate the small things - like being able to take a shower on ones own, or even going to the bathroom without help. I've got two more shifts this weekend, plus nightshifts monday and wednesday - but sometime in between I will catch up with my translating :)

After the trip to London, a whole bunch of murky waters welled up in me, and I've been working on cleaning out old stuff that really isn't me anymore. The Heavenletter about letting others go, about giving them freedom without having attachments really hit the spot. I am living it out in theory, now, even though it's hard.

Yesterday as I watched over one of the patients, I realized how strongly the soul speaks without the fuzz of words. How incredibly intricate and beautiful the language is, but also how futile the use of it is when it comes to expressing the vastness of a universe. One look into a little boys eyes shook my world. He have never uttered a word in his life, yet he speaks to everyone louder than any words can ever do.

I am so grateful. For this, for heavenletters, for God, and for you all.

I hope you are all well.

Talk to you soon,
Margaretha
