Gloria to God:

Dear God, in yesterday's HeavenLetter, you said to let my love effuse into the universe. Later when I meditated, I was conscious of giving my love to the universe. I don't really even know what that means, but I felt something good from it.

God:

It means widening the reach of love.

It means giving love everywhere.

It means just giving love.

Just letting it be and go wherever it goes.

It will land.

There is no doubt about that.

It will arrive somewhere.

It will arrive many somewheres.

Strangers will pick it up and not know where it came from.

Giving your love to the universe is sharing My love.

You hold a flower, and the scent goes to everyone.

Imagine how great My love is that it created your magnolia tree, and it created you.

My love can do anything.

My love is only to give.

The more of My love you give, the more there is.

Not more than there is because it is infinite already, but more is made known.

Whirl My love around in the universe.

Watch it go.

While faithfully reading HeavenLetters every day, I have not communicated for quite some time to you how precious they are to me. I have several excuses, none of which hold any water at all. There have been a few computer glitches (off line, moving monitors to various parts of the house, vacations, etc). But through all of it, I have not missed ONE HeavenLetter.

God, on the other hand, is always there and always communicating in the most wonderful, obvious, magical and mystical ways. I just returned from a vacation to California and my favorite beach (Laguna). God was there washing over me as I walked the beach and saw dolphins and even a whale spray! We then went to Arizona where the Grand Canyon waited for me to step into the Divine, which I did. I felt as if I were being embraced by the whole Universe.

So blessed am I, so blessed are you. HeavenLetters speaks straight to my Heart and fills it all up over and over again. THANK YOU, GOD!

One morning I was in that place between sleeping and waking and meditation. I asked God, "What is purpose, God? What is my purpose?"

God answered, "Your purpose is to be harmless."

While it seemed like a simple answer, I have since realized it is a HUGE responsibility to be harmless. It makes me smile to receive such wonderful, seemingly simple answers to my prayers.

Dear Kerry, thank you for finding the Divine in your life and travels. Thank you for being close to My heart. Thank you for loving Heavenreaders and writers and for expressing your deepest inmost heart.

Hmmm. Did I say that about purpose? Hmmm. I have a sense of humor. You are trying to figure out your grand purpose, and then I tell you, "Your purpose is to be harmless!"

Of course, I made a good point. Cause no harm. That is a good start.

In truth you can do no harm, because harm comes only on the level of the physical. You know you are not your body. You know you are not your house or your furniture or any belonging you have. You are not your feelings. Nothing can harm what you are. Nor what your loved ones are. Not anger, not crime, not injustice, not hurt, not death. You are inviolate.

Nor can you hurt another. Only the physical can you damage, and the physical is not all that much.

You are beyond harm, My children. You are safe with Me. Amidst a world of ignorance, you are still, nevertheless, safe. Nothing can hurt the divine of you. Only the physical. Be not so attached to the physical. No energy is lost. You cannot be lost.

If I tell you that fear is not real, then I must also tell you that what you call harm is also not real.

There is more I wish to say.

What is it that you would be full of in order to be harmless? What is on the other side of harm? When you are true to your nature, you could not cause harm. What are you when you are true to your nature?

You are good. Kind. Benevolent. Loving. Peaceful. Truthful.

You are already those, Kerry. Those are your true nature.

Have the quiet intention of causing love. Cause peace and love by being in your truth. Let peace and love and truth emanate from you. Lean towards them. Be so inclined.

Be unconscious of doing good, however. Save a child from an oncoming car, not because you wish to do good but because you wish to save the child. Be not aware of doing good. Do good without thinking about it.

Goodness is your innate nature. Your goodness needs no proof. It is truth.

While it is a very good thing to be harmless, you want to live more than by default. For many of My children, harmless would mean not doing anything. Otherwise, how could they be sure?

Find your joy. Feel free to make mistakes. Do not tiptoe through life. Laugh.

Dear God, I love everything you say. And yet I don't want my body hurt, possessions stolen or damaged, my feelings or anyone's feelings hurt in any way.

God:

Of course you don't. Listen to this: if there were no fear, harm would not exist.

Fear is resistance to truth. Fear is resistance to Me. Fear wants to make you almighty, but it makes you mighty in resistance and mighty in waste of energy.

Look high. Look higher. Keep your eye on truth.

Jesus was crucified but nothing nothing nothing was done to him. Only his body. He was immortal, and so are you. Every God's son of you.

Life will teach you much. You will go through many things. What you go through is the drama. It is not truth.

See beyond. Remember there is a beyond.

And, meanwhile, make joy.

The truth is that the universe does embrace you.
