Neutral and Natural
Gloria:
Dear God, all of us have the purpose to find our way back to You and to have and cause joy as we do. But what about individual purpose, dharma, career etc.? How do we find that?
God:
By the wayside. Let it find you.
There need be no great campaign waged to find a named career. Be Who you are, and the direction will come.
And, meanwhile, you do something.
You didn't know you would be a Godwriter. How did you get here? Not by hunting it, but by being receptive. Listen to and follow your deepest heart, and you will find yourself.
Gloria:
Is it ordained what we will do to serve You?
God:
Yes and no. In one way, it is like a grab-box at Christmas. You reach in and pick up an unknown package, and it is yours.
In another way, you have been looking for that precise package. YOU may have ordained that you would find it.
And there is free will. You don't even have to reach in unless you choose.
Great effort in finding your purpose is of futility.
Great effort is not of God.
Great effort is your individuality running a race when there is none.
There is no urgency.
Gloria:
Dear God, what would You like to tell us this morning?
God:
I want to tell you that life is good, Gloria.
Life is a relish made of many ingredients, some of which you like, and some of which you don't, but all of those ingredients combined make the relish. Relish life.
Get a kick out of even that which you don't like.
Gloria:
That would be to be neutral, wouldn't it?
God:
You amble along, and the sights are the sights, whatever they may be, and you accept the sights and don't mind much whatever they are. You are not controlled by the sights; nor do you control them.
Neutral is natural. Natural is easy. Natural is the least resistance.
If you take the walk of life, and you say: "I want THIS. I don't want THAT," you are putting up resistance to life. You are putting up blocks to life.
Better to let life flow.
You may say: "I like this. I like this other less." Do you see the difference between preference and want? Do you see the difference in how you feel in wanting and in noticing?
There is nothing that has to be the way you want. You don't have to "get" everything you want. If you think so, you are trying to rule the universe.
Your children don't have to be the way you want. Your parents don't have to be the way you want. People don't have to behave or say what you want the way you want. You don't have to object to anything. You are simply taking a walk.
You don't have to embrace everything either.
You can choose to walk this way or that with this person or that.
You are not obligated.
Nor is anyone else.
Each is free to walk through life.
Yours is a perfect walk. You think it is imperfect. You think it has to be changed, and that you are to change it.
You have choices. Making a choice isn't the same as insisting on change. You simply choose where you will walk. Choose acceptance, and then go from there.
You do not have to weigh choices much.
Weighing your choices is thinking about them.
Let the choices make themselves.
If you burn your finger on the stove, you take your finger off.
If you scrape the cake batter from the bowl with your finger, and it tastes good, you put your finger back in.
Find yourself where you are.
Don't think too much.
Wherever you are, it is good. You can move to the right or to the left, and it is still good. You don't have to stay where you are, nor do you have to move.
Don't force change. Allow it. Don't block change. Allow it.
Gloria:
Mother Divine hasn't said anything here in a long time.
God:
Silence is one of her trademarks.
Gloria:
If I address her, she will come?
God:
Do you have to know ahead of time? Do you need permission to ask? Just ask.
Gloria:
Dear Mother Divine, I know you are the feminine aspect of creation. I mostly think of God as Father, and some people think of God more as Mother, and I don't know what that means at all.
Mother Divine:
You don't really know what God is when it comes to that. Some day ask, Who and what is God.
But back to your question about masculine/feminine. Love is neutral. The Source of creation is neutral. You think of things in terms of opposites. God/Goddess are One, of course.
Language is limited. You do the best you can with it.
Gloria:
Yet I address you as Mother Divine, and you answer.
Mother Divine:
I, God/Goddess, give you what you ask. You want Father, I give you Father. You want Mother, I give you Mother. I give you strength, and I give you tenderness. They are also inseparable. Perhaps you think of Heavenly Father as more strength and wisdom and Heavenly Mother as more tenderness and love.
Gloria:
I have felt great tenderness and love from my Heavenly Father.
Mother Divine:
And you will feel great strength and wisdom from Me as well. We are talking about a circle, not a point on the circle. There is no competition here in Heaven. There is flow.
Now I give a flower to each of you. I lay it lightly on your path today. This flower blossom I give you is a seed of thought. I give you a beautiful thought today. That is my flower, and that is my blessing.
