What You See

God said:

Your eyes are at the front of your head and that which you see you see as if before you. If you had eyes in the back of your head, the back of your head would not be the back. You would think of it as front.

If you had 360 degree vision, you would not know front or back or side.

You would have a better view of eternity and Oneness. You would see the simultaneity of what you call present, past, and future. Your heart would be pierced with the joy of existence. You would have Allness.

From your present vantage, you imagine that If time and space were not, you would float and revolve and be lost somewhere in space and time. How dependent you are upon boundaries!

You hold your hand against a wall and mark your place. You see an innocent dial of a clock, and you mark your time. All of this takes place in unfounded time and space, and yet it makes you feel grounded.

All the same, you are like an atom that revolves. You really do reach the nethermost regions. Your fingers touch China and Heaven and all in between. Your heart and mind are absent from nowhere. No one is a stranger and all merge, atoms overlapping, atoms finding themselves, dipping in and out of themselves, seemingly aimless, but vitally purposeful.

In life, you look very much for cause and effect. You want to trace a line to the past to the present to the future and often interweave back again. While you like the idea of free will, you like to connect the dots, and so you put yourself in a maze from which there is no exit.

Your life has not been without choices. You may rue some choices. But right now you are choice-filled. You can choose anything you want to choose. You can even choose reasons. I suggest you choose something else.

You crave to know why and how and why you? Looking for answers is looking for explanations, and explanations are limits. Forget reasons and discourses. Reasoning is like whittling wood. It takes a long time, and sometimes, when you are done, you have to throw it out.

Imagine for a moment that the reason for anything that you question is that you are. You are alive here on earth. Is that not reason enough?

You yearn for free will and yet you choose destiny. You are not the pawn on the chessboard. You are the hand that moves you. Choose now to move yourself out of the past accumulation of all your questions and explanations.

So what if your life is unexplained? Is not all of life inexplicable? Who can explain that which is great? And you are great, and your life is great. That you have life is great.

Whatever has happened in your life, it happened, and let it be gone. The past is not an explanation for the present, nor is it an excuse. No excuses are needed. Don't waste your time on them.

You are a twirling atom. Twirl. What can adhere to you who twirls in nonexistent time and space? Where you have been and where you are going and where you are now — all this locating of yourself is a twisting detour.

I am here. You are here. You are in My Presence. Is that not enough? Explore the world, and stay with Me. With Me is where you are located. I see you very well. Glimpse Me.

Reasoning is like whittling wood

Unsurpassable! Will Your children ever dare to be so free? I think You want it for them. I think You wish for them to bypass all their knowledge, their insights, their wisdom and whatever names they give to whittled wood. Whittled wood can be useful in a world where things seem to be somewhere, but none of that is of any use when it comes to remembering.

China and Heaven and all in between

I'm finding out more and more just how much I love this Heavenletter. It's my personal proof of God and my personal gym for spiritual calisthenics. Proof of God because I doubt that humans would be able to think up something like this. Spiritual calisthenics because ... well, just try to imagine having your eyes at the back of your head and looking up at the sky or ceiling while sniffing your coffee. Shoes would be constructed quite differently from what they are like now; otherwise, with your eyes at the back of your head, how would you tie your shoes? Or imagine looking out of the window on a sunny day. No, do it: Stand with your back to the window, shading you occipital eyes with one hand.

And now imagine 360 degree vision, eyes around your head. Can you? There would be no "somewhere", everything being simultaneously everywhere, no left, no right – the truth of onenes would be obvious and commonplace. Sometimes, for instance when walking in the park, I try to feel what life would be like.

An the rest of this letter is just as powerful:
