Translators for Heaven News and Welcome Letter to New Subscribers
Dear Friends,
Two additional translations we are looking for now are Heaven News and the welcome letter to new subscribers. Presently both of these go out only to those who subscribe to English Heavenletters™.
Heaven News usually comes out twice a month. The welcome letter is a one-time translation only.
Subscribers who subscribe to only the foreign-language Heavenletters at present are out there by themselves. They don't receive the courtesy of a welcome, and they don't receive Heaven News. Without Heaven News, subscribers in other languages have no way to know what they are a part of, and they don't know all the good things that are going on with Heavenletters. Without the welcome letter as well, they are isolated.
Do we have people who are willing to translate the welcome letter into other languages?
Christine has the welcome letter translated into French. Cecilia translated the welcome letter into Spanish. Paula did it some time ago into Italian, but her translation needs to be updated. There may be others I've forgotten that already translated the welcome letter into their language, so please excuse me, and remind me.
Emilia is translating Heaven News into Italian, so we are all set there.
Do we also have translators who would translate Heaven News about twice a month?
I well know how busy everyone is. Many translators work full-time jobs and translate as they are able. I don't want to put anyone on the spot. If you can help out, that would be wonderful. And if you can't, please know how glad and grateful we are for you.

Translating Heaven News
Here's a formatting technique that may make your presentation of your translation of Heaven News easy and simple and just right:
On the Heaven News you receive, press Reply. Of course, you have to be in HTML.
You will now see the English Heaven News with the photos and all. They'll be right there.
Now you can type on this reply.
Put your translation in the exact same places where the English was.
Please use the same font, bolding, and color (if you can easily. The most important thing is your translating.)
Please translate the top template. I mean this:
Heavenletters™, bringing Earth closer to Heaven.

one question: the "Dear ...." is dependent on the male or femal in italian, if the message is sent automatically that is problematic.
Should we choose a neutral welcome beginning like "A most warm welcome to the Heavensite (name of subscriber)" ?

your :"Pls read The Story of the Farmer and the Hat" is it already translated into italian or should I do it also ? When selecting the italian flag just the italian Heavenletters show up, could we also insert the Hat story once available in italian ?
May I add two words about the WONDERFUL COSMIC HEAVENLETTER GENERATOR, or did you leave it out for some reason ?

I translated some years ago the story of the Farmer and the Hat and everything else there is on the home page of the Heavenletters site, so maybe you (or I) can find the translations somewhere, and you don't need to do them again. There was some talk about creating the Italian website with the Heaven administrator then, but somehow the idea just didn't come to be.

I think now that it will be good for translators to post everything they translate where they post Heavenletters. The welcome letter, Heaven News, and, of course, The Story of the Farmer's Hat. That way we will know where to find it, and, God willing, never be lost.
Paula, you have not only been translating the longest of all, you have translated so much extra.
Do you still have Loretta's personal question to God and the rest in Italian? I remember you translated Diane and Molly. Are these posted?
And, of course, you, as did Engin who translates Heavenletters into Turkey, translated the Heaven book from cover to cover.

It was Heaven Admin who conceived of developing websites in every language. There is no one who wants this more than Heaven Admin. I can only imagine the enormity of this project and the hours it would entail. Once created, we would then realistically need a webmaster for each site.
Steve and Gabrielius have offered to give technical help, and maybe they will be key in developing Heaven's international web sites.

I don't think we have an expression like "easy does it", but we say "rustig aan, dan breekt het lijntje niet" which means "take it easy and you will not strain". I find that now that I use my time more efficiently, I can do a lot more and I also like translating.
