Hello dear reader of this email,
I am Anco Terpstra from the Netherlands and I love to assist you with
translating Heavenletters into Dutch.
I am employed in the area of
environmental issues and sustainability, especially working with local
businesses in business areas in the city of Groningen in the Netherlands.
I have been a seeker and fortunately a finder too of spiritual truth and
try to integrate this in every day life. That journey is of course far
from finished, but I cannot quit.
Some years ago, while reading the books of Neale Donald Walsch, among
other books, I found out that this directness of God speaking to us
appealed very much to me. There was a lot in it that deeply felt true to
me and touched my heart, like a remembrance and homecoming. With the Internet
available, I choose and read and try to integrate what sounds true for me.
Heavenletters simply appeals extra to me. I guess it is the directness of
contact with God, the undeniable truth in it and the fact that, of course,
it speaks to everyone.
I offer hereby my assistance to translate Heavenletters into the Dutch
language and hope to hear from you soon whether you want to make use of
this offer and if so, how to proceed from here.

Leen, our present Dutch translator, has been a great blessing to Heavenletters™. She is involved in so many activities that she has desired another translator to come – and here you are! I will take the liberty of including both of your email addresses below in case they don't show above so that you and Leen may correspond and coordinate. Leen will welcome you, dear Anco, as much as Santhan and I do and all the people from the Netherlands and Belgium who will love to read your Dutch translations. And perhaps you will be able to bring us more subscribers to your translations.

And third that you have a strong desire to translate them into your native tongue!

We also ask that you translate the Heavenletters you most want to. You are working a full-time job so pace yourself. We don't want you to burn yourself out, so we don't want you to feel pressured. How many Heavenletters do you imagine you can comfortably do?

When you have questions about translating, in general or in regard to the meaning of a particular colloquial expression, Global Translators Circle is the place to post your questions.
Leen, will you be able to show Anco how to send his translations to the special address and how to post his translations on the forum? Can you post on the forum as well? Perhaps also email him the directions so he has it right in front of him to print out or refer to?
Anco, one more thing, will you kindly also send your translations to me at the same time as you send them to the special address Leen will give you? I like to receive them so I am sure to know about them and have the opportunity to thank you.

Beloved Anco, I do have to say that you move FAST. You already have posted a new translation and sent it off to the special address that dear Leen gave you.
How did translating feel to you? And how long did one Heavenletter take, would you say? Remember to take all the time that you like. Be comfortable with translating. God is happy with whatever you can do. The Heaven team is happy too!
I went into the data base, Anco, and found that there are about 55 subscribers to the Dutch translations.
I also did something else while I was there. I went into your account -- I hope you don't mind -- and made it so you will also receive your own Dutch translations! Anco, I did this so you can make sure that everything with your translations is as it's supposed to be. I forgot to mention this before.
You are going to think I'm very nervy! I also made your subscription every day! I did this to make sure you receive every Dutch translation. If this is not all right with you, please feel free to tell me, and I will undo it.

This morning at the job I surfed sneaky to Heavenletters and got a warm shower from the reactions there. It gave my workday a very joyful start !
Translating took some time, but....it felt great to accomplish it and to make it available for others. And I do feel free to take my time after you mentioned that, which was good of you to do.
I have a couple of extra frre days ahead, so expect some more translations.
And last but not least, a litlle more introduction from my side : I am 56 years young, planning to become at least 150 or more, for these are indeed exciting times to live in !!! I am male, happily married with my dear Helma and father of 2 boys and one girl, just lovely kids. I like to grow my own vegetables, and boy, do they taste good ! Making pictures is another thing I like to do, listen to all kinds of good quality music and as an old song says : " Music was my first love ", but don't know whether it will be my last.

Yes, it is good to learn more about you, and I agree that the people who post here are angels, including the translators. :)
I see you garden. In the next few days or so, there will be a blog entry about the fresh fruit and vegetables in season here. And then later an entry about the extensive garden a friend of mine here has.
Do you know how to post photos here? There is a way, and if you can figure it out, it would be great to see photos of your family and your garden!

thanks for telling us more about you, it's ever so nice. So, since you don't know me, I am 43 and live in italy with my to boys, Loris 16 and Emanuele 13. I am german by birth but came here a girl since my father is italian.
I'd like to do a lot of things but have little time for my life is full of office work and family matters.
... Holland is ok, in german it's called Holland too.
it would be correcter to say I was a translater, now my free time is too short really. the few translations done by me were revised and controlled by Paula, who very gently agreed to this. Paula does all the wonderful many italian translations, she's wonderful really. I fear my italian is still too german and my german isn't very german any more...
