To Be a Human Being
You are My expressed Holy Being on Earth. What else can you be, beloveds?
I multiplied Myself, and I multiplied Myself in you, in the illusion of you.
If I created you, what can you be but holy? The last thing you have thought you are is holy. But had you been called holy instead of naughty during your childhood and your life, you would not question your holiness as you do now. You have learned well to accept your naughtiness, lack, folly etc. as if you were an aberration, and you glibly question your holiness which is the Truth of you. Certainly, everything is backwards in the world.
You went out and played and got dirty, and perhaps you were scolded, and forever after you believed that you were dirty and had to be washed off or absolved. And when you took a bath or repented, then you were good, but only for a little while. Even if you did nothing, just by virtue of being alive on Earth in the form of a body, grime would accrue.
When you first learned to write, your handwriting wasn’t as good as someone else’s, so you thought you weren’t as good as someone else either, and so you thought others were less imperfect than you and that perhaps you were the lowliest of all.
How can My Being on Earth be less in one spot than another? Whatever you may think of someone, you base it on outer manifestations. Of course you do. I do not scold you for that. I ask you to take another look.
You came to believe that being a Human Being was an ignoble thing, and you were ashamed of it. Even as you flouted your body, you regretted it. You have had an ambiguous affair with your humanness. You have taken your body very seriously and downplayed your soul, as if that too were an embarrassment, as if your body was to be covered up yet flouted, and soul to remain in a closet, hidden from view, and only whispered about on certain occasions. You may have belittled everything about you, from your hair to your toes. Perhaps you would throw yourself away if you could. Perhaps you have.
You may have thought you were bargain basement and zealously resisted the idea that you are actually Tiffany’s.
Perhaps you thought you came out of the gutter. There are no gutters in Heaven, beloveds. There are no streets and sidewalks to create a gutter. There is no shady side of a street. There are no good neighborhoods nor poor neighborhoods. There is no less and there is no more. There is no proper nor improper. There are no rules. What rules could there be for such a place as Heaven? What rules must be charted when everyone follows them already without their being named? Love and joy reign. There is no other rule.
Why is this so? Only love and joy gravitate to Heaven. Nothing else enters in. When there is love and joy, there is no room for anything else. And who would want anything else? Who would substitute anger for love, selfishness for joy? Only on Earth would that version of life parade.
You would do well to start imagining only love and joy on Earth. Begin the revolution of Earth in your mind. Begin by filling your mind with love and joy and naught but love and joy. Focus on love and joy at every opportunity. What you imagine does come true, and may it come true now.
