thoughts on forgiveness and gladness

things I forgive today

* the people who are, to use the offical webspeak, behaving as Internet Trolls towards me.

* and I forgive me, for being too trusting and believing these people were genuine

I am inspired :
- that I am understanding the difference between forgiving and forgetting; the first is a conscious choice :-)
- that I am remembering that it's ok to forgive them, especially when I speak from the heart and am met by only the clever-worded ridicule of another's mind; it's ok to just forgive them - for they know not what they do.

I am forever heartened :
- by my capacity to forgive, even if that has me sounding like 'Pollyanna' :-) I am glad by so many things.

I am glad :
- that I love, that I feel, that I care, no matter what.
- that God is a many-faceted diamond for me
- that I am me, and even in face of that which is afraid, I still work from the heart.

I love :
- the weather
- and nature
- and the earth, it's so beautiful
- being alive and on earth

The power of love is amazing isn't it :-)

Oh, darling, God is Heavenletters has an entirely different take on forgiving!

Hi gloria,
I was doing the 'You are a dancer in the universe' thing; from the part where it says 'Tell me your joys. Yes come to me with a list of joys'. One of my joys is the things each day that I have managed to forgive. I think what we need to forgive depends on what has happened to us in our lives.
Peace and Light, rain.

Beloved delightful Rain, sit down, this is going to come as a shock to you! God as I understand in Heavenletters doesn't think much of forgiveness!

Jochen, where is that Heavenletter?

but that's ok too :-)

Hello gloria,
it's ok I'm not shocked lol, although I didn't know your personal view of forgiveness, I do understand that people from many different beliefs are here and that's good. god needs every one of us in order to be whole, and needs us to each be unique. so it's a joy and that's ok too.
I was also not shocked, but I was saddened, with a couple of posts I've just read elsewhere which wonder 'if none of our lives are true and are just fictitious, with even victim's being very very important' and such things as 'what if everything that occurs is to our benefit'. There is no benefit in receiving harm, and kids do get molested and women raped; they do feel pain; and they are not taking pleasure in 'being a victim'. It can't be wrong for me to say these things, as others have expressed theirs views on them first, and as you said, we don't have to agree mindlessly with everythingPeace and Light, rain.
