There is more to life than the perimeters of your existence. A life you lead for your own pleasure or safety alone is a fragment of life. Lead a bigger life. Yes, you are a leader of life.

You were made for big things. You are not fenced in. Why would you corral yourself into a small existence that perceives no further than the end of your nose?

You were made for joy, but not just joy for yourself.

I understand that you may love your boundaries, your routine, your pleasure-seeking. But there is more joy for you to receive, and there is more joy for you to give.

Do not stand on a tiny island when I have given you a continent to walk on.

Where is your perception?

Please think beyond yourself. The sum and total of life goes beyond self-absorption.

Yes, it is a fine line to walk on. You do not forsake your own life, and yet you must not make too much of it.

Knowing Me is beautiful, but knowing Me for yourself alone is not enough. Do not be satisfied that you know Me. If you keep Me to yourself, you do not really know Me. You have your idea of Me, but not My thought.

See beyond your borders.

Borders are nonexistent. I did not make you for selfishness.

You do not hear Me when you hear only part of what I say. You cannot choose part of Me and let part of Me go. I am Wholeness. I am not a particle. Nor are you.

Looking only to your life is too small for you. Yes, I want you to have joy, and I want you to share it with the world. Yes, I want you to do what gives you pleasure, and I also want you to see beyond your own pleasure.

Living for yourself alone is not enough for you.

Why swim in a tiny pond when you can have the whole ocean? But you cannot have the whole ocean for yourself alone. You must take others with you. You cannot come to Me alone. Hmm, you will all come to Me, but not one comes alone.

How do I make clear what I want to say? I do not ask you to sacrifice. No, no sacrifice. But when you think of yourself or your family alone, you have sacrificed. You have accepted little when you were entitled to more. Do you understand what I am saying? Step out of your own walls and enter the universe. You have purpose beyond yourself.

Consider having the thought, "What can I do to further God's universe? What can I do beyond the reaches of myself? I do not sacrifice myself. I do not do what I don't want to do. But why would I not want to be of service in the world? Why would I not want to give back to a God Who has been so good to me? What would keep me away from serving God in a scope bigger than my own small existence? If I serve myself alone, how am I serving? If I see no further than my own personal life, am I seeing? Dear God, I ask you today to help me see beyond the rims of my own glasses."

Allow Me to give you more than you presently give yourself. Let Me expand your horizons so you can arise to your greatness. Stop tying your own shoe. Look up.
