Just when you think you know it all, you find out how little you know. Is this not the case? You have set up a tennis match in the world, and you play. You swing the ball back and forth. You play, and it is yourself you play against. Since you play yourself and the part of the opponent at the same time, it is a sure bet that you will win. Or, perhaps, the set is a tie, so you neither win nor lose, and what does it matter? Win or lose, you played. Win or lose, it is in the past. In the sense of the world, the glory is past. It lasted only a minute.

Here is what is wonderful about playing the game: Win or lose, you come closer to Me. And so you can only win! Victorious in the eyes of the world or not, you can only win. You win Me, beloveds. What else can you win that lasts more than a flicker?

Here's the ticket. You find out how little you understand so that your understanding can become greater. It is folly to have such certainty that you know all you think you know. You presume. I am speaking now in terms of the relative world. It can't be known, beloveds, because the world is a flibbertigibbet. It just can't settle down, the world, and you keep bouncing on it.

Yet there is that beyond the fickle world that you can know and can know with certainty. I am the Knower. And, therefore, so are you. We, you and I, come from a different land which harbors not one whit of the instability of the extant world. And, yet, where We come from, the Stillness We come from, it is not a rock, for Heaven has swiftness of motion and resilience that the world cannot conceive, yet what in Heaven is there to be resilient about?

The world is your field of study, and yet it can't be known. The world provides all kinds of proof, and the weather changes tomorrow. The world is ever shifting, turning itself this way and that, as a pretty lady walking across the runway stops, pauses, and turns and goes back again. And only in the world does tomorrow or any form of time exist.

And yet, together, you and I, We created this world that you sink and swim in, and yet it is only a play. It is only a play, and yet it has Divine actors in it. You are one of them. And so you study a world that is inscrutable. It will not stay still in your hands.

And yet there is a world of Stillness, and of this World you do know it all. You have deluded yourself that you do not. In fact, you call this world of which I speak the Great Unknown, as if there were a Great Reef Barrier in the way of it. You know Heaven better than you know the back of your hand. You know Me. We are Old Friends. We come from the same country, so to speak — Heaven. Heaven is where your heart is. And your heart knows All. Your heart has never lost its knowledge of Heaven and the sweetness of it.

Do not despair. Do not feel again that you have lost Paradise and must regain it. You haven't lost your way. You just have been immersed in boundaries, and you have convinced yourself that you can't see beyond them. You have convinced yourself that the extant world is Known and that Heaven is the Unknown. You reversed your thinking, beloveds. You got out of sorts. Heaven is the Known, and you know it.
