Gloria to God:

Dear God, yesterday I was talking to someone I know, and we were talking about how everyone feels like Cinderella in the ashes and everyone wants a prince to come. She pointed out that, because of You, I was a Cinderella at the ball, and You are the Prince Who discovered me. I feel like I am the luckiest Cinderella of all.

God:

I am indeed the Prince. And I am most eager to be chosen as your Love, all of you. The Giver of Love wants to be the Chosen. I have prepared love for My children and lined it up on a counter like ice cream sundaes, and I want you to come have it. What keeps you away? My love is ready to be received.

Notice in your Cinderella-ship, Gloria, you are now the princess. Cinderella is no longer in the ashes. She never was. The prince had claimed her long ago, and she had only to look up.

Gloria:

Lauren thinks the Harry Potter books are so popular because we all want to be changelings (a fairy children), to discover that we are more than what we seem, and that these Muggles we live with are not our true family, and somehow we were transported to live with them and learn their foolish ways.

God:

Everyone searches for their true identity. Certainly a mistake of identity has been made.

Gloria:

I may have mentioned that when I was in California and Alaska this summer, I sometimes had the feeling that I was sort of in disguise, or that some of the people I met didn't know who I was! I mean, they thought I was some older woman and that's all I was. No one asked me what I did. Some people told me their whole life stories but when they finished, their interest in me was over. The main question I did get was where was I from, and everyone thought it odd I lived in Iowa, but that was the end of it, as if Iowa really had anything to do with me or was the extent of me.

Before I start judging, dear God, do You remember Phil who has written those amazing appreciations of You and Heavenletters and who is into the Toltec tradition? Well, I met him years ago when he was visiting in town, and I DID NOT KNOW WHO HE WAS. He was a nice cheerful guy that I met in passing. What an opportunity I missed in not finding out who he was when I had the chance.

God:

On some level you did know. On some level it was known. But you did not awaken it on the surface. Each person you meet is a soul that I created and formed a human body around to partake of My creation and the exchange of identities with other souls I have also created.

What if you could think of everyone you meet as a wonderful opportunity to touch a soul, that that soul was a gift from Me to you. I created your soul and other souls for you to meet. Meet means much more than physically coming across. Meet. Recognize. Connect. Touch. Soultouch.

Find Me in other people. That is your task now.

Gloria:

For some reason that word Soultouch is sounding like Toltec to me!

Sometimes I feel that soul-touching you speak of. In the Ask God workshops, I feel that. I feel that in the questions from Heavenreaders. I can feel that in books sometimes with the author and with the characters in his book. I do much better when the human body is not in the way. At the Godshops, somehow the bodies are not in the way.

Today I'm going to the dental school in Iowa City. Can I touch souls there? I wonder.

God:

Try saying My name. How many people do not dare to speak My name. My name is the code-word for soul-touching. It is the password. I give it to you. Use it as an Open Sesame to soultouch. Report back.

I just got to the computer with the thought of emailing Diane to see if she would be interested in cosponsoring HEAVENletters with me for our new, incoming minister. I would love him to get sermon material straight from God's HEAVEN Ministry. Then I saw Margaret suggesting that very thing. I am going to send our new minister the August 30 newsletter.

By the way, I have been inspired by Nancy L. to think that HEAVENletters would be great for AIDS hospice centers as well as for prisons. I know that the one where I sometimes work has email. I am really turned on by this concept of sponsoring the ministers of institutions. I wonder if hospital chaplains would post pertinent issues…

Thank HEAVENS ! Look how fast the switch from the name Heaven Association to Heaven Ministry is manifesting ! There certainly is something to the power of the word and the power of the Master Weaver. Glad to be a HEAVENreader thread, witnessing us all being woven together in God's design.
