Gloria to God:

Dear God, I would like to ask You on Maureen's behalf about the time pressure she is under. She works full-time, takes care of her elderly mother, and she is also writing a book on caregiving to aging parents, so now she also has deadlines from her literary agent and publisher.

She is in town here for the summer to get some rest. She doesn't seem to be getting rest. She seems to be under pressure. She is really a fun-loving person. What do You say to Maureen?

God:

I say that Maureen is forgetting Me. That is the same as saying she forgets herself.

She takes care of her mother. She takes care of her work responsibilities. Now she has added on her book and is taking care of her agent and editors. Who works for Maureen? I say again, who is taking care of Maureen?

It seems to Me that you, Gloria, are showing more concern for Maureen's welfare than she herself is!

First of all, what is Maureen's purpose in writing this book? Is it for joy to her heart? Is it for fulfillment of herself, or is it for something outside herself?

Maureen can be more of a nurturer to herself.

What is she rushing for? Who really puts pressure on her? Certainly not I.

Why does Maureen run a race? What would happen if her book gets finished later?

It seems to Me that Maureen is not treating herself well.

She is here on earth to create joy. Maureen is, in fact, a great joy-maker when she doesn't strain.

Straining is control. Control is not of God.

In Maureen's racing, she avoids and denies Truth.

Happiness of everyone is not found in the scramblings of the world.

Instead of a work ethic, a duty ethic, I suggest that Maureen develop a joy ethic. Put joy first. That is simple.

Is it Maureen's responsibility to be caregiver to the world?

Maureen has strong opinions. I ask her to let go of them. Opinions do not strengthen her. Life is not lived in opinion.

I suggest that Maureen do three loving things for herself each day. Become her own caregiver.

Maureen is caught up in the race. I suggest she pause a moment and ask herself what is her destination.

As it is with everyone, Maureen chooses her life. She has the privilege to choose to strain, if she wishes. Her life did not descend upon her.

With great love, I would like to remind Maureen that the world does not set her value. The world doesn't value.

Maureen's value was set long ago in Heaven. There is nothing that Maureen has to prove. She is proven. I tell her to approve herself.

She is a gem of magnificence, and I would like her to spend herself well. She does not have to spend all of herself.

She needs to learn to receive.

I would like her to receive My love, spend My love and not her own energy so much, and open her heart to relieve the pressure she has put herself under. No one can release her from it. No one has put her under it. She can rescue herself.

I want to tell her that she does not hold up the world. I do.

Will she put her trust in Me? Give Me her responsibilities? Will she turn her attention to Me a little bit?

I am not talking about the formal Me. I am talking about the child's Me.

Will Maureen let Me be God?

Maureen, I shine My love on you. Today you will feel lighter.

Beverly had an experience with a message from Me. I told her to care without investment. That was not what she wanted to hear, and yet she knew it was Truth, and she accepted a soothing balm of healing from Me. She is freer now.

I offer you that freedom. I suggest that you meet with Beverly, for she will say something that will bless you.

Maureen, I am the Driver. You be a passenger.

I love and bless you. I send angels to you. I carry you. You are a blessed child of Mine. You are a blessing, and you are to bless yourself.
