Relative and Spiritual

Bev Allen is a technical recruiter. She is a beautiful woman on every level. Here is just a small sample of her very first Godwriting from the most recent Ask God Workshop. She will give us more. — Gloria

Bev to God:

God, I find I have resistances to hearing/writing Your words.

God to Bev:

Ask for the resistance to go. There are layers. Ask every time you come to a new layer. In asking is the healing. Writing is an action that helps release the blocks. You write to Me, and blocks within yourself are dissolved. Don't delay. Now is the time. Start somewhere, and it will come to you. Just do it.

Gloria to God:

Dear God, "In asking is the healing." That is so powerful and memorable. It keeps going through my mind.

God:

Let it.

Gloria:

Sandra emailed a comment about balancing her spiritual life and her regular life. I know the idea is that they are one, but often they appear separated like two.

God:

People often expect their spiritual life to produce particular results in their relative existence. Even the most spiritual can stub their toe.

When one is in truth without expectation, the spiritual and relative are One. What appears is. Truth is seen, spoken, and lived.

The life unfolds. It is not predicted. A smile is truth, and words are what they say. When My child is free from denial, illusion, non-truth, he is free, and when free and in truth, where can the distinction between spiritual and relative be?

Gloria:

A healer or spiritual leader might not have direct knowledge of You, but believes that he does know You, and believes He speaks Your truth, and he does!

God:

But he is then not in his truth. Fooling yourself isn't innocence.

Gloria:

I suppose it's better to not think much about our lives one way or the other.

God:

It is better to live your life and think of Me, and not put either your relative life or spiritual on a scale. In touch with Me does not mean that your appearance is one way or another, or that you eat one food and not another. The One Truth comes in many forms, but not in guises.

Gloria:

Would it be correct to say that if one is in good touch with You, they would not hurry, feel pressured etc.?

God:

They would grow toward that. Unattached, they would not run or be pressured.

Rushing is on the surface of life. In the depths, there is Isness.

When you are in touch with that Isness, you are in touch with Me.

Gloria:

Going back to Your words to Bev, I have asked You to remove many things, but I hadn't thought to ask You to remove layers of resistance.

God:

You may not have asked, but I do it for you anyway.

Gloria:

Thank You. Was there ever another like You!

God:

I am the One, mirrored in all.

Gloria:

Dear Mother Divine, would it be correct to say that God does not think in terms of mistakes?

Mother Divine:

Yes, man does that.

Gloria:

What seems like an obvious mistake in our eyes may be just right?

Mother Divine:

Yes. A child draws a picture. His drawing of his dog and his house and his mother and father, brothers and sisters, does not look accurate. Is that a mistake, or is it drawing?

He colors a tree pink; is that a mistake?

If you looked at Christ's life, from man's limited point of view, you could say he made mistakes. He was imprisoned, wasn't he? Crucified, wasn't he? But he lived God's Will and is remembered and honored still, this man who made mistakes as the world of men see. And, yet, that same world honors him.

Gloria:

On this subject, at the most recent Ask God Workshop, Joyce Schindler, who has a degree in theology, and who is such a dedicated loving seeker, wrote:

Joyce to God:

Dear Holy God, of the two questions I asked, which is more important?

God through Joyce:

Neither. Be with Me.

Joyce:

I thought I was seeking a higher plane, a higher self?

God:

Stay with Me.

Joyce:

How do I become One with You?

God:

Grow in Me.

Joyce:

Then what must be done?

God:

I love you. Remember that. Remember My Son and his words and actions.

Joyce:

I do, but I can't be like him! And sometimes I think he made mistakes.

God:

What if he did?

Joyce:

What if he did? How could he?

God:

The human experience is full, full of "mistakes". So what?

Joyce:

How can this be?

God:

It is My creation — FREE — I SET IT GOING.

Gloria to Mother Divine:

Mother Divine, we look to be boundless, but in terms of our ordinary lives, we need to set boundaries. Karen says setting boundaries in our lives is the same as loving ourselves.

Mother Divine:

Yes. Maureen needs to set limits on what she does for others. You need to charge for Heavenletters. Lauren needs to set limits to honor her time and attention in her life.

The limits are not a fence. They are a flower border.

They are a sign that says: "I count too."

Loving yourself is key. Love yourself, and all else follows. When you love yourself, you don't seek love. You initiate it. When you love yourself, you surround yourself with God's angels. When you love yourself, you turn on the faucet of God's love.

Love yourself first, and you will love your neighbor.

Loving yourself first is like planting flowers for beauty.

Loving yourself first is holding a beautiful parasol.

Loving yourself first is honoring others, for it allows them to love themselves the same.

Loving yourself first is love for God and His creation.

Loving yourself first is a message of joy.

Loving yourself first is saying thanks.

Loving yourself first is refreshing. It is honest and real. It is accepting God's gifts.

Is it not all right to love your child and show him to the world? Must you love other people's children before your own?

Consider yourself a child of yours, and give love to yourself proudly.
