Posting translations under English Heavenletters
Since we did not have many new Heavenletters to translate the past couple of weeks, Anneke and I decided to translate some of the earlier Heavenletters. I recall that new translations need to be posted under the English Heavenletter by hand, so I post the earlier Heavenletters twice, once under Translations where we use to post them every day, and once under the English Heavenletter in question.
Being a perfectionist it bothered me that very many of the earlier translations cannot be found under the English Heavenletters, so I promised myself to fix this. For this purpose I made a list of all Heavenletters translated by Anco and Yriah, which will also prevent us to translate a certain Heavenletter twice.
I recall that we had a discussion nearly two years ago about the renumbering of Heavenletters, so I tried to find out where the numbers of the translations are in step (or not) with the English Heavenletters. It took some effort to discover that #1772 which is the earliest Dutch translation is now #1757 and that gives me a clue.
When I wanted to post #1772 now #1757 under the English #1757 two problems occurred. First the system does not accept more than one number and when I wrote “#1757 (#1772)“ I was told that I could only use one number. The solution would be to write in the text “(previously #1772) so that it will be clear that translations found in another place may carry a different number.
The second problem was the name of the translator. It was Emmy who translated #1772, but her name was not accepted. The solution here may be to just leave the name out.
Then when I submitted the post many English pages had changed into Dutch and once Santhan had to put it all back to English. In the meantime I discovered that after a while the system will switch back to English by itself. It takes the system sometimes 20 minutes to send out the translation and it may well be that it needs this time to restore itself. So my guess is that if it's left alone (by me) for half an hour there will not be a major problem.
Gloria and Santhan, I need you to tell me what to do with the numbers and the names of the translators, and then I can start working on this 'long-term” project.
Beloved Luus, I am so sorry
Beloved Luus, I am so sorry not to have responded to this important post sooner.
I love your conscientious and how you take initiative and take responsibility for the smooth-running of Heavenletters. Please know how much this is appreciated.
Luus, I have no idea of how to answer your question.
I will bring your question to Heaven Admin's attention.
Thank you, beautiful translator/care-giver to Heavenletters.
God bless you and love,
Gloria
