Diane to Gloria:

Dear Gloria, I loved what God said Monday, January 17, about doing things to please Him and that He is very easy to please. Very comforting and so true because He is almost the only one who is without judgment.

God to Diane:

I am without judgment because I am all love.

There is no room for judgment, no place, no need. What profits judgment? It is the opposite of embracing. Judgment is selective embracing. I include everyone, exclude no one. I would be a small God if I let this one in and kept that one out. Only the A's and B's pass! The C's and D's and E's are eliminated! Of course, I do not know who is an A or who is a B or a C etc. in the first place, because that is not My thinking at all. I know that all of My children want My love and some ask for it more readily. I do not love the first in line more than the last in line. I love.

Gloria:

About judgment, getting back to Bev's question about animal rights, the poacher judges the situation differently from the activist. He sees his freedom being encroached on, perhaps his very livelihood and survival. Why should someone legislate what he can or cannot do? So he sees the activists as interferers.

The activists see the poacher as selfish, short-sighted, uncaring, and wrong. They see the poacher as a poacher, and not as Your child, and they gain support for their side.

God:

When there are sides, you know there is judgment. A platform has been taken. There is a moat in between. Hearts harden, and justification takes over. Fighting is not My Will. I am not a separator. I am a Uniter.

Gloria:

With loving thoughts alone, animals would be protected?

God:

There would be no need to protect.

Gloria:

Should one simply pray to You when they see a need?

God:

Praying to Me is always good. Pray for the animals, and pray for those who prey on the animals. There is not a surfeit of love known. Help love to be known.

Gloria:

Jon's friend Bonnie helped love to be known.

God:

Very much.

Gloria:

Dear God, if I am in a situation where I have to choose between writing Your words and being kind to someone directly, what should I do?

Someone I know slipped on the ice and banged her head, and she asked if she could stay over here last night. This is someone I have never even been in her house. I said yes. I made tea for her last night and all and did everything I knew to make her comfortable. I have no extra room so she stayed on the couch in the living-room.

When I came down at 3:30 a.m. this morning, she woke up, and I was brief with her. I just wanted to get in here and write to You without anything in between, and now I am feeling bad. She needed lots more kind attention, and I didn't give her enough.

God:

What you are picking up here is this person's need to be loved. Her need for proof of love and her belief in her own unlovingness are so great that when she is in "proven" need, she makes you think you owe her attention. The thing is you only want to give from your side when you choose and not have it expected of you. You want to be the genteel lady who can offer kindness before it is asked for. And it would be hard for you to give her enough, for she needs more than you can give.

Gloria:

I think of how every visitor is You or Christ and that I am flunking.

God:

You feel you are taking a side because in your judgment, someone shouldn't ask for what she has asked, and you shouldn't have acceded.

Remind yourself, Gloria, that feelings of guilt, regret, remorse, feed the ego. There is nothing honorable in guilt. Just kiss it goodbye, and go on.

Gloria:

Now, God, I hear something. I think it is a mouse.

God:

You can write Me down even with a mouse near.

Nothing, nothing, nothing separates you from Me. No action, inaction, thought, word, deed, omission, nothing nothing nothing separates you from Me. You cannot separate yourself from Me. Try as you may, you cannot.

You are My beloved. I cast not My eye from you. I hold you in My gaze forevermore. You are imprinted in My heart. My heart beats for you. You are indelible in My heart. You cannot forsake Me. You cannot be without Me. You cannot skip away from Me. You cannot elude Me. You cannot mistake Me. You cannot escape from My love for you.

For wherever you go, I go. I follow you. To the remotest corners I follow you. I am inescapable.

I am not your conscience. I am your love. As you are Mine.

We are one Heartbeat. We are one Mover, We are one Love. We are One.

You do not have to move over. I am already here with you. I am your Friend. When you are polite or rude, kind or unkind, sweet or bitter, I am your Friend. When you are sad or happy, I am your Friend. When you are rich or poor, I am just as much your Friend. I am Friend. And We have Friendship.

Within the word "friend" is contained the root "free". Our Friendship is free, costs nothing, and is freedom-giving. We are free to be Friends. You are free to think you are away from Me, but you are not free to leave Me because I am not leaveable. You do not have to do things My way, because I will go with you. I have no pride. I am like your little doggies. I will keep asking for your love. I never feel diminished. I will always follow you and go where you go. You are never out of My sight or My attention. My eyes go where they will, and they will to go with you.

Just look at Me every once in a while. That is enough.

Harvey to Gloria:

Phil, the Toltec fellow, is amazing and brings a different angle to everything. Love truly is universal with different flavors of bliss.

Julie to Gloria:

The last paragraph of Wednesday's Heaven was great. I am going to print it out. I also loved the part about asking what would God like me to do instead of what is right or wrong.

I also read that Martin Luther King's daughter asked everyone to seek their own mission from God and go forth with it.
