Dear God, I believe I have magnificent spiritual life, yet it does not always seem to be balanced in the relative. Why don't the inner and outer always coincide?

God:

It is a fault in your thinking.

Gloria:

So whatever I feel is missing in my life is really from misdirection of my thoughts?

God:

Something may not have manifested yet, but that does not mean it isn't there. Look for the signs of what you want being there. When something manifests, a stage has passed, the flower has bloomed. Unseen, the seed was growing all the while in the earth.

It takes a patience before you see the results of the seed's roots digging in and the plant bursting through the soil, especially when you are urging it on like a race horse at the finish.

Better to think: I may not see the plant yet, but I know the seed is developing.

Better NOT to think: Oh, oh, it's not coming up.

Remember that your thoughts are powerful. Help the seed blossom. Nourish it like a child who needs your positive thoughts. He can't ride his bicycle yet, but you know he will. Encourage all fruition.

Gloria:

Thank You, dear God.

I also wonder about doing and not doing. I can't resolve it. To my mind, if someone needs to work, he better look for it. Yet You are the one who makes it happen, so he needs to depend on You and not on himself?

God:

Success is Mine alone. I am the Doer. But you are My hands and My feet. Yes, if someone wants a job, it is good for him to look for it, not in panic or desperation but in peace. He takes steps; he leans; he prepares a room for a reception, so to speak. He makes himself ready to receive the gifts that only I can bestow.

Gloria:

So he looks for work without control of it?

God:

He looks for work and doesn't wrangle for the result. It comes, it comes not. He knows fulfillment will come. And he loves my gifts however they reach him.

In whatever endeavor My children are in, they are practicing life. You are getting the hang of it. That is what you are here for. To learn to love, accept, be free of must's and should's, to be free to follow your stars as they appear to you. In other words, to return to your rightful place with Me.

If a particular event doesn't seem like the "right" one, then another one is. But right to you is what you expect or hope for or demand, but right is what comes no matter how unseeming it may look to you.

This way of looking at "right" is not to obviate you from responsibility. Your responsibility is truly in your thinking and feeling, and you don't make excuses for yourself because whatever happens is "right". You give your share to life. You are not the leaf in the pond that has no say about its direction, for you are the director of your life so far as you are able.

Direct your life without intense involvement. Direct your life from a lovely vantage point. This vantage point is where you see and hear from. Put your vantage point up in Heaven, and you will see a grand overture called your life.

And yet your question is only partially satisfied. The longing to understand more is great.

But understand this: I am with you, you are with Me, and life is good. Trust in your life. From it, flowers will grow. From it, more seeds will fall into the ground and sprout.

If you can, think of your life as already fulfilled, and then go about your business of living on earth. Start from fulfillment, and then watch the fulfillment. Don't be nervous with the seeds that are planted. Picture them in full bloom. All that can happen is you thought you planted petunias but pansies come up instead. Enjoy the pansies as well and later you may be surprised when the petunias come up too. Life can only give you more, not less.

Gloria:

Dear God, I am enthralled with your beautiful words, but then I think of concentration camps and things like that.

God:

You are thinking of things like that as reality.

Life is more than this little span you are presently in.

The people who lived and died in concentration camps may have had great victories of soul, Gloria. You do not conceive of how they may have blessed the world and received multitudinal blessings themselves. The physical is only one dimension of life, and a limited one at that.

Only good can happen. If you can accept that, you will have breached many boundaries and leaped to a high vantage point.

Gloria:

I am not able to reach that vantage place now, dear God.

God:

Then reach for it. Reach to accept it as so. Say to yourself: If this, what I see as tragedy is really good, then what will I do differently? How will I be different?

It is such a little thing to shift your thinking. Shift your mind and heart even the tiniest bit, and the world revolves differently. Your perception is pivotal. Turn your thoughts to Me, and you enter a vastness vaster than the vast. Heaven is vast.

Grow your thinking. Your mind view is not set. Surely you know that it can grow. Surely you know that your thinking has not been accurate. Surely you know you do not see everything. So, then, be open to seeing more, to seeing new, to seeing differently. Life is not static on earth. There is one true immutable truth, but you don't have it yet.

Aspire to it. Aspire to Me.

Morning! I loved the message about reminders of God. I wear a Celtic cross and use it to think of God. And the fear or faith slogan is still with me urging me on to greater faith.

Your draft of home page is just wonderful! Gloria, I gotta tell you this is good. Heaven letters has got to get out there, people are waiting on it.

Remember the message God gave to Lauren about asking "if I loved myself would I do that etc." That would be great on the web site. That's a life skill for sure.
