Ode to Your Heart

God said:

Put aside all your cares. Take a moment off from concern. You have heard it before: the world can revolve without you. That a wise platform for you to come from. At the same time as that is so and there is wisdom in sitting back, your presence is a necessity. You spin the world with your foot. You may do it without awareness, yet, nevertheless, your foot moves the treadle.

So you are essential and nonessential at the same time. If you did not exist, the world would not. I created the world for you, beloveds, for you to play in. Play is not to be taken so seriously. There is no substitute for you, yet, at the same time, someone else moves up, and the game goes on while you sit on the sidelines.

When you create a painting, you back away a little so that you can see what you painted. Close up, you cannot always see. So draw a breath. Sit on a cloud for a moment and witness the world from a less intense perspective. It would seem that even the night stars quietly withdraw and let the sun take over.

Be involved in life and uninvolved. Be neither attached nor detached. Let the river of life flow as you follow it. You do not need to always be paddling ahead as if you must race to meet the finish line. You need not always be out of breath in life in order to keep ahead of it. There is no wolf at your door. Or, We can say the wolf at your door is your own unrest.

Let your weary mind put its feet up and rest a while. Enough thoughts for a while. You have had more thoughts than heartbeats. Let the world take care of itself for a while.

Breathe in the fresh air and breathe out the old thoughts that have been hangers-on. Many of your thoughts serve no purpose but to hassle you. Let your beautiful beating heart take over for a while. Worry is not from your heart. Rather, it is propaganda from your mind. Let there be an end to thought for a while so that your heart can lead the way. Your heart knows how to live in life. Your mind keeps practicing and doesn’t seem to learn what your heart has simply known.

The mind makes puzzles. The heart is more gracious. Let your heart host your life. Your heart does not think thoughts that are abhorrent to you. The theme of your heart is love. Your heart is like a sailboat while your mind zooms around like a noisy motorboat.

To come to your senses means to come to your heart. Your heart is wise. The mind is a beautiful thing, but your mind does not always think beautiful thoughts. Your mind and your heart are meant to go along holding hands. As it is, your mind composes a treatise while your heart picks flowers.

This Heavenletter is an ode to your heart. This Heavenletter is a proclamation of love. I proclaim love. Will you hear Me? Will your mind be quiet for a moment and absorb the love I pour over you now? Your mind is merciless in its inability to trust. It looks for the flaws. If it does not find them, it will invent them and so circumvent love. Your mind will tell you it looks for love, but it duels with it and often wins out.

Let love swell your heart now. The mind’s ego has been puffed up enough. Now it is your heart’s turn to burst, and to burst with love and let your mind follow along and accompany all the love in your heart.

At the end of a day of

At the end of a day of totally unwarranted frenzy, produced by the "wolf at my door", our seemingly omniscient Cosmic Heavenletter Generator generously -- lovingly -- presents me with this one and it works wonders. Thank you, dear CHG. Although I printed this Heavenletter you chose for me, I can hardly bring myself to close this page. As if, keeping it open, I could stay in touch with you and everyone longer. Strange, huh?
