New Translator Guidelines
Posted January 27th, 2013 by Oldooz
I just made the adjustments, as there are not a lot of Farsi translations and surely will stick to the new guidelines.
One of the thing that's important for me is to be able to write a more natural translation of Heavenletters. For me it's really irritating when I read something that's only a bunch of word to word translation.
Thank you everyone for providing the new guidelines.
Much love,
Oldooz
Beloved, take what's useful
Beloved, take what's useful and easy for you. There aren't a whole lot of rules for you to follow when your heart is in the right place. And your heart surely is.
We all look for lightness in what we do.
Please let our work be easy for us. Nothing is to stand in the way of our enjoying what we do for God. . What can we do to lighten it for us, angel? What if God said: "Oldooz, Gloria, tell Me what to do to make you smile and laugh at work?" What would you say, Oldooz!
Do we know anyone whose native language is Farsi, who loves Heavenletters, and whom you might like to engage with?
Love, Gloria
Gloria, There is actually
Gloria,
There is actually no burden. Guidelines are always helpful, I think. I was always wondering if it's appropriate to mention the permenant link to the original Heavenletter in my translations or not... and there I got the answer.
Gloria, please don't worry about me. I've been so isolated from my environment since 2005, including people... (some says it was a time to realign myself). I really don't know of anyone. I do feel comfortable all by myself. :-) -- May be things will change in coming days, weeks and months.
Love,
Oldooz
I'm glad to hear this,
I'm glad to hear this, Oldooz. I also require much time by myself. Loving you, Gloria
