Money Chakra
Lauren to God:
Why is it I have almost a physical reaction to money? When I have money in my purse I feel better, as if money is my foundation. God, I am not hideously materialistic, but I don't feel right when I don't have an abundance of money. Intellectually, of course, I know it's not my foundation. I know money is not my security, my well-being, my happiness. But it's like a physical feeling, God. And when I don't have much money, that is like a physical feeling too, and it's overwhelming.
God to Lauren:
Dearest Lauren, foundation is a word to you. Intellectually you know that I, God, am your foundation, but what you really think is that your survival is dependent upon money. Survival is a lower chakra function. It IS physical. Money or lack of money is in your gut. Money is associated with food, Lauren, and you feel you have to be full. When you feel hungry, you are thinking about your stomach. You are not thinking about Me. When your purse is empty, you are thinking about the emptiness of your purse. You are not thinking about Me.
Put Me first.
Feeling that you have to be full on all levels does not recognize that all nourishment is from the Creator. Fullness of God is what you seek. Fullness of purse is not lasting. Even if the money lasts, the fullness does not.
Part of you may feel that before you can reach your highest purpose that you must have money beneath your feet. You figure that you will go from chakra to chakra. First the foundation of money. You may feel that until you get that right, you can't go further. You may feel, once you get that right, then you can move on.
I think you need to move on now. It is not skipping a step. You will not lose anything. Consider you have a gold string with bells strung on it. When you hold on to the bottom bell, you don't get far. Hold on to the top bell, and all the rest can only follow. Fly, and the whole golden string of bells flies along with you.
Work your life a little bit from the top end, dear Lauren. Right now survival is a heavy weight at your feet. That is because you are trying to climb in place. Go higher, My sweet.
You are not a plodder, but you are plodding.
For the time being, you have this job you have. For the time being you have big bills. Make the arrangements you need to make, and swing your attention off survival matters.
I do not say to avoid or deny financial matters. I say to raise your heart above them.
You are a fish caught in a muddy stream.
Take one leap and you will be in a fresh pool of sweet water.
The leap I suggest you take is in attention.
Take care of the finances as best you can, but be done with the energy spent there. Get your home and grounds into shape, and your energy does not have to be drained there. Catch up with everything, and you will be ahead.
Take the classes you want to take.
Live the life you want to live.
Seek your higher purpose by getting up.
You fulfill more than you know.
You just have to admit things to yourself.
As I suggested to Ruth, put yourself at the top of the pyramid. This is where you belong. Not at the bottom wedge that holds up the whole thing. Fruition is yours. You can only see from the top.
Be light, dear one. Be lighthearted. Be in My light. I have promised you much good, many blessings. Get up from where you are now and spread your wings to Heaven. You are going to reach the stars, Lauren. Be light-footed. Stop trudging. Start soaring. Just a little turn upward. You can do it. Come on. What cannot you and I do!

Joyce M. to Heavenletters:
I'm glad you loved my response that you printed yesterday in the September 19 Heavenletter. I'm a little sad that you deleted the sentence, "It's so inspiring to see that in being willing to experience indignity, there is dignity." When I wrote it, I was thinking of Jesus and the indignities he suffered in his last days. How he didn't complain, he just surrendered. And in his surrender there was a dignity of spirit that annihilated all worldly ideas of dignity, leaving only truth.
Love to you.
Gloria to Joyce:
I didn't understand. But I'm glad I edited so that you could explain what you meant so magnificently. Thank you.
Nancy O. to Heavenletters:
Dear Gloria, I applaud you for facing this fear you mentioned in the September 17 Heavenletter. I would say I am proud of you, but God might smack me, right? Just kidding! Again, you are a worthy example. Thank you.
Abby to Heavenreaders:
The subject of embarrassment was a good one! I enjoyed reading about it very much and have been trying for a long time to step out of it. Love to all!
N.S. to Heavenletters:
What is so beautiful is that through you God speaks uniquely and then you share this voice with others.
