May I join the translation team? (Translate into Chinese)

Hi Dear Gloria and all Beloved Sisters/Brothers,

Thank you all for your hard work! How wonderful to have Heavenletters to read every day on earth! I enjoy the reading very much!

Heavenletters are full of God’s wisdom and love. They nourish and enrich the love inside my heart and bring endless joy, peace and happiness into my life.

The idea of being a translator came to me last night, when I was reading Heavenletter #915 “No Longer” recommended by a friend. Deeply touched by the wisdom and love, I started typing the Chinese version of this letter.

After finishing the translation, I could not help reading it again and again. Every time I read it, I could feel God within was teaching me something new. Every time the different sentences and points got emphasized and thus pushed me to ponder how to apply the words into my real life.

I then sent the translated letter to a few Chinese friends. 3 of them showed deep appreciation for God’s wisdom and love. The most excited one sent her thoughts/comments back to me 9 times within an hour.

So here I am….

Some more information about myself:

I was born in China. Love Chinese literature. I have been practicing Buddhism for over 4 years.

I am more than happy to do anything which can help wake up others(that we are all ONE), anything which can make people feel internally happier.

I am practicing:

Accept whatever happened/happening/will happen;

Appreciate and love whatever happened/happening/will happen;

Try my best to improve the situation happened/happening/will happen.

I wish everyone in this world gets to know God, God’s love, God’s words, and God’s teaching through the Heavenletters.

May everyone be as wise, joyful, peaceful, and mindful as God.

With much love,
Leean

Beloved Leean,

How lovely that you would like to translate Heavenletters into Chinese! And you live in Colorado!

Life is truly wondrous and full of nice surprises.
I’m so happy that you love God’s words.

Leean, here are the other three translators into Chinese:
Pictures of Innerpeace, Ruozi and Xiyangyang.

(Hi, Innerpeace, Ruozi, and Xiyangyang! You all did great job! Thanks! Looking forward to working with you.)

Leean, we should see that you get everyone’s email address. Maybe we can all talk on Skype one day soon.

Meanwhile, I will try to get all the guidelines together for you – for everyone.
You might like to go to this page on the Heavenletter Spiritual Community forum which will introduce you to some of the other translators and give you some idea of guidelines.

God bless you.

Beloved Gloria,

I am very glad that I received your email after I came back from the Chinese School. (I am teaching Chinese on Sundays and work as a software engineer on weekdays).

Thank you so much for being God's messenger. From a channeller friend's experience, I know it is not an easy job.

From the messages you are delivering for God to this world, I can tell you have a very pure and loving heart. (Otherwise the wisdom would not be as profound). Thanks and Congratulations! ~*^_^*~

I have read the Translator Guidelines already. I would like to work with the other 3 Chinese translators as soon as possible.

Love,
Leean

Beloved Leean,

Thank you, thank you. You enrich my heart so much. I am so happy that you love Heavenletters.

I can see that you apply yourself to serving! You teach Chinese on Sundays and are a software engineer on weekdays – and now you will add translating Heavenletters™ into Chinese!

Truly, Leean, receiving God’s messages is the easiest thing I know. It takes no effort at all. It is God who does them. If it were hard work, it would not be Godwriting™! Each Heavenletter takes only 20 to 30 minutes!

I’m not sure that the guidelines are complete. I will apply myself to making sure they are.

That is a beautiful photo you sent, and you are so prompt! The scenery of your photo is like poetry, so beautiful.

On the reproduction of your photo on the Reader Comment page and Heaven News, I think your face won’t really show. Would you be so kind as to find a photo where we will easily be able to see you? Is that okay? Maybe we can put in two photos.

Leann, I would like to ask you if you will kindly post this beautiful email you just sent me and your first email as well on the Heavenletter Spiritual Community Forum. http://www.heavenletters.org/global-translators-circle This way you will introduce yourself to all the translators and to Heavenreaders as well, and they will respond to you.

I will respond to you on the forum as well.

Will you be so kind as to register on the forum and tell a lot about yourself, will you? Where were you born? We mean to change the profile page as soon as possible. Never mind the questions it gives now. We would love to know lots more about you, if you will.

Thank you for everything. I am so happy to meet you.

A thousand blessings.

With love,

Gloria

P.S. More later, I'm sure!

Beloved Leean, here I am

Beloved Leean, here I am back again! A couple of questions for you based on this comment of yours!

It is my guess that God prompted you!

Who is your friend who sent this to you? I am guessing she is already a subscriber to Heavenletters. I would like to thank her.

And your friend who wrote to you 9 times! What did she say?!!

Of course, what you write here is making me go to #915 right away! I'll be right back!

Yes, No Longer, is a humbling straight-to-the-point Heavenletter. I would so love to be someone who not longer finds fault!

Thank you for coming right in and translating a Heavenletter. That is just right.

Innerpeace is the coordinator of the Chinese translators. She has a system in place that prevents duplications.

Meanwhile, Heaven Admin will get some kind of code for you so that your translations name you as the translator for your translations.

Happy you're here, dear Leean.

You know that Innerpeace posted this Heavenletter on the Chinese translation page already!

Beloved Gloria,Thank you

Beloved Gloria,

Thank you for your loving words!

Yes, I know Innerpeace have already translated #915. She did very good job. Since I started reading heavenletters half a year ago, I benefited a lot from her work.

My final version of the translation of #915 did use some of her words and sentences. Inspired by our combined translation, I came up with an idea for making the translation process better.

The steps below are trying to insure that our translations will be as precise as possible to the true righteousness of God, and also to insure that our readers get the maximum benefit from God’s teaching.

The suggested translation steps are as follows:

1) For each heavenletter, all of the translators do the translation work and then read each others’ afterwards.

2) Brainstorm, then form an integrated new translation by using the best parts among all the translations. (I can do this part of the work)

3) Due to the complexities of Chinese, the language differences between English and Chinese, and God's profound teaching, I am sure occasionally some controversial areas will be encountered, where we have different understanding or there will be no direct translation. If that happens, we will translate the Chinese back to English, and ask Gloria to give a suggestion.

4) Discuss and modify again to form an integrated translation of the heavenletter.

Brother Xiyangyang had emailed me information regarding the translation work and the contact info. I emailed him with the above suggestion.

The friend who recommended me to read heavenletter #915 is Chinese. She follows Nick Chen’s Chinese website. (I believe Nick Chen is one of Xiyangyang’s friends)

Regarding my other Chinese friend’s comments on heavenletter #915, here are some:

1) Really good! Great! Thank you so much. Your translation is easy for me to understand.

2) “There is one thing your role surely is not, and that is to be the improver of another. There is no one I have given that role to. There is no one I would.”
These words told me that God the creator loves all that He created. Slander, discontent and accusations are not allowed. God made it really clear!

3) “If I can accept everyone with whatever technicalities their surface existence may portray, cannot you?”
Good teaching. Clear enough.

4) A Zen Master had a similar teaching: a real practitioner would not find others’ fault.

5) This gave me a brand new understanding of God. God teaches us in a completely different way! Not at all like what I had imagined before.

6) Love is actually the consciousness inside our heart.

7) Wish I can have more time to read and study God’s teaching.

With much love,
Leean

Welcome!

Dear Leean,

I welcome you to the team, and I tell you : " enjoy..."

Much love.

Chantal, French translator

Beloved Leean, Your friends

Beloved Leean,

Your friends who read your translation not only gave their responses -- they gave wisdom. I gained from reading what they wrote. My heart felt settled from reading their words. We are blessed.

What a beautiful place it is here with such loving translator angels. I am in awe. Just let me sit here and watch you all make miracles!

Goodness knows there are enough Heavenletters to translate! We'll never run out!

Let's keep on thinking of ways to spread God's words all over the world. There are many good things in this world, and many good messages, and somehow we are here with these messages to deliver.

What dynamos Heaven translators are. Some of the translators work in teams, and some, like Paula, the Italian translator; Engin, the Turkish translator; and Theophil, the German translator, shine as single translators and have for many many years.

Once Luus, the Dutch translator, worked by herself until Anneke came to join her. Normand and Chantal, French translators, work as a team. I think it's Cecelia who keeps on translating Spanish, thankfully! Cecilia has worked for Heaven Admin! And we have been blessed with part-time Spanish translators, with many other language translators as well. We had Catalan for a long time etc. If you go to the translation page, you can see all the great translators who have blessed us. If I have left anyone out, please tell me right away!

And, now, three Chinese translators have become four! YingXuan, Xiyangyang, Ruozi, and Leean. Thank you! Thank you!

There is something else that goes on in translating beyond the translating, and that is the energy engendered. What beautiful energy. There is the energy of translators, and the energy of Heavenreaders. This is spectacularly combined energy. I’m thinking that energy is light, and God well knows how to bring bright light together with His own energy. Frankly, I am dazzled by the love and energy of all the beautiful translators.

Thank you all.

Now, the process of translating. Dear translators, use the process comfortable for you. You are the translators. You are the ones doing it. Leean, how you have embraced all translators and the service of translating with your full heart. What a blessing you are.

Some translators like to work independently, and some like to work closely together. All styles are fine. As you like. What works for you. You are so welcome. We are honored to have every translator, and, translators, please honor yourself and how you work.

As I see translating, your love for God’s words and your desire to share them are the major requirements. What a great thing you are doing, giving God’s words to people in their mother language. This is huge.

You are all conscientious, and you can only do the best you can. Translating is an art, isn’t it? I imagine that a translation has a life of its own. Translating isn’t a science. Sure, no one is to take liberties with translating. Sure, you stay as close to the original as you can and, at the same time, keep your joy in translating. Keep your heart high. No translation can be perfect, only satisfactory. Please, no over-worrying about accuracy, okay?

It’s a great thing to have those you can discuss with.

God in Heavenletters™ often uses idiomatic expressions that you couldn’t possibly know. You can always ask on the Translator Circle page. Odds are that if you have a question, translators in other languages do as well, and it is a service of you to ask on the forum.

God bless you, Leean, and all God’s translators, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

With all my love,

Gloria

The first Heavenletter you read

Dear Leean,
a warm welcome in the translator team.
I think it all works the same way with our first contact with HeavenLetters. You can hardly believe what you are reading for the first time. You really FEEL that it is Really God talking to us individually and collectively.

My first contact with Heavenletter was with the letter numbered #1 on the Heavenletters website: "God speaks".

I think it also comes naturally and in the proper timing when you have the urge of translating Heavenletters. It is an honor and a privilege that we can now share with you, dear Leean.

And I am really amazed about the collective work you go through to translate Heavenletters. Team translation literally. And translation from English to Chinese is a big challenge. We will learn a lot from you, guys.

Leean, by the way, your

Beloved Sisters and

Beloved Sisters and Brothers,

Thank you so much for your warm welcome and loving words!

Yes Gloria, I have seen my picture and words on the comment page. It is arranged so beautifully. Thank you!

Yesterday was quite a busy day for me, but I managed to translate one heavenletter. When I finished the translation, it was way passed midnight. Tired yet very happy, I am so proud of myself that I could spread God’s words this way.

From there I started to think about you, all of you! You have been doing this for long time, much much longer than me, and this is your daily life. How much time you have put into your translation? How much love you have put into spreading God’s words? How much wisdom you have showed the world while serving? And Mr. HeaveAdmin, Thank you for your special way of contributing!

So proud of you! Solute to you all, my dear ones!

Talking about heaven letters. I love them, I love them! When I was reading and especially translating them, I feel I am so close to God, God is talking to me! What a privilege!

Thank you dear Gloria, you made all of these start to happen!

Later, I would like to share my comments, thoughts, and questions on heavenletters.

Until next time,

With lots of blessings and love…
Leean
