Dear God in Heaven, Louise Hay's personal assistant sent me a note, explaining that Louise is semi-retired, and they wish me continued growth etc.

God, I honestly feel crushed. I know better, but I feel discouraged.

God:

It isn't hard for you to feel discouraged. Why not make it hard to be discouraged and easy to be encouraged? I encourage you. Mother Divine encourages you. Your friends encourage you. Truly, the only one who discourages you is yourself. Good for you to know that. Karen would call it past conditioning, and that is all it is. Ghosts from the past, dear Gloria.

You are an adult now, and you can encourage yourself. You can remind yourself that you are working for God. That is what you do. I, your employer, am happy with you and what you are doing. Just keep listening, writing, typing, and sending out.

It is like you dig ditches. You just keep digging. When the ditches are used, how, by whom isn't your concern. Your concern is to dig ditches. You are not attached to what follows after you dig. You do your part well. You dig ditches deep and wide, and you can take pride in the ditches you dig. You do not decide how deep or wide or where. Others decide that. You simply dig the ditches.

If you did not communicate with Me, that would be something to be discouraged over. That a publisher doesn't buy My words, why, that is nothing, dear one.

Gloria to Mother Divine:

Dear Mother Divine, what do you wish to say to me?

Mother Divine:

There is always cause to be discouraged. There is also always cause to be encouraged. Which way is in line with God's thinking? Do that. List now all the reasons to be encouraged about HEAVEN.

Gloria:

I love it.
Some other people do too.
I learn from it.
It educates me.
It is given to me.
It gives me strong purpose.
It keeps my mind on God.
It makes me happy.

Divine Mother, I am dazed that the response from Louise Hay is so tepid. It's not even a response.

Mother Divine:

It is a response. It is her response. This was her answer, or her assistant's at Louise's behest. It has nothing to do with you.

It doesn't make you more or less, anymore than an avid acceptance would. All the world's favor has nothing to do with you. When HEAVEN is published and well-received, it is all about God, not you. God is glad when it is published; something done He wanted done is done, and He checks it off.

Nothing makes you more or less, Gloria. God has made you "more", and that is what you are. Slings and arrows would not change it. Confetti and gold coins also would not change it.

Accept that you are God's child, and so valued high.

Value yourself, as God does.
