Dear Gloria,

I have problems translating You access how can a God of Love take away that which means the most in life to you, sometimes really does, and sometimes so it seems. (par. 6)

Could you please explain to me what is meant here? Because I can't translate this in Dutch. And the German translation is no help neither; it often is, but not now.

Dear Anneke,

Gloria will know it better.

I understood it like this.

You go between ...
You intervene in an ongoing discussion ...
You step forth and come to the fore as to what it is which is important especially for you.

You access how can a God of Love take away that which means the most in life to you, sometimes really does, and sometimes so it seems.

Beloved Anneke, once again you are puzzled with what, as best I can tell, is a typo of mine. Once again I thank you so I can correct my error before the Heavenletter goes public.

As best I can tell, there is a word missing. The line is supposed to be like this:

You are unable to access how a God of Love can take away that which means the most in life to you, sometimes really does, and sometimes so it seems.

Am I addressing your question, dear Anneke?

If access presents a difficulty, the word accept may work better for you in Dutch.

What we see as a loss means so much to us. Sometimes it means everything to us.

Regarding "and sometimes so it seems," we want something so much at the time. Later, in retrospect, we may be glad we didn't receive what, at the time, was vital to us.

Anneke, a thousand blessings for spotting my typos.

now I understand!!

Dear Gloria,

now I understand it and I can translate it into Dutch.

Thank you!!

And I'm glad I asked, because others will understand it better as well !!
