HL #4209
When all see as I do, when all love as I do, We will not be frozen statues, yet We will be still. We will live in the depth of Our hearts, and, in the depths, there is silence. We could say that in the depths, We have pulled on the arrow. And there We are, poised in life before the movie We are in starts, before the movie We are in becomes animated, before the Director says: "Lights! Camera. Action!"
We are poised. We are ready. We are full of energy. We are at the moment before animation where Stillness reigns.
According to the dictionary poise means:
v.tr.
To carry or hold in equilibrium; balance.
v.intr.
To be balanced or held in suspension; hover.
n.
1. A state of balance or equilibrium; stability.
2. Freedom from affectation or embarrassment; composure.

It's hard to find the right word for poise/poised when I don't really understand its meaning. Can you help me, Gloria?
Just before a concert
Just before a concert begins, for example, the conductor and the orchestra are poised to begin.
