help needed #5167
Hello everyone!
Can you help me understand this sentence: You can do a jig on a dime, and you can jog #5167.
Here is the context:
This is across the board. If you have been capable of hurting others and yourself, you can become a blessing, a hero, an influence for what is holy. You can do a jig on a dime, and you can jog. Your heart can reach the stars. You can hit the high notes. There is no limit on you but the limits you arbitrarily set. You are the mover of your own life. Without exception. Regardless of what may have befallen you in life, you are the decider of the next step you take. No one makes you good, and no one makes you bad. Don’t buy that story. Others certainly have contributed, but no one makes you do ill or good. You are the maker of you.
Thanks!

Hi Anaïs, I translated this
Hi Anaïs,
I translated this Heavenletter and did not find a good translation but understand that a jig is a very fast dance and on a dime means:
At a precise point; within a narrowly defined area: a sports car that stops on a dime.
I myself translated it as "You can dance very fast and you can jog."
Hope this helps a little.
Thanks for asking, dear
Thanks for asking, dear Anais. This Heavenletter is about our making choices. A jig, often Irish jig, is fast, as Luus says. Jog is slower, more like a trot. Of course, in English, there is a light-hearted play between jig and jog, the rhythm, and almost rhyme. I don't know if there is anything equivalent in French. But now you have the idea. Now it's your choice to figure out how to translate it as best you can! Will you let us know what you do?

Thank you both, here is my final translation:
Vous pouvez danser la gigue ou vous pouvez faire un jogging.
It works in French as well, now that I understand it better.
Gloria, I have tried 3 times to send pictures on different email addresses and it never worked, that's why I kinda gave up... As I'm not very patient with computer issues. Maybe I'll do it again at some point though. So, sorry for that!
With love,
@nais

As for photos, can you send as attachments to me in an email? I would love to see what you have. I've got to see your baby,
I know what you mean about the computer when it doesn't do what we want it to! It's I who couldn't see your photos on line!
