Dear Gloria,
could you please explain what is meant by you are not in your right mind when you are fit to be tied.
When I translate that sentence in Dutch, it makes no sense to me, so I don't understand what it means, maybe if put in other
words I can understand?

When you are irate, you fly off the handle. Honestly, dear friends, you are not in your right mind when you are fit to be tied. Anger erupts. Anger is not a good handler of life.
