Dear Gloria,

The third paragraph from below reads ....
Everyone knows by now that your heart is more than a muscle. Nor is your heart a flurry of sentiment. The core of your soul radiates in your heart. Remember your heart is Mine. Do not strive to capture your heart and imprison it. Hearts must roam free like buffalo on the range.

Dear One, Buffalo is okay here. I believe here it is used in a generic sense, buffalo in general. It's just how it it used.

I'm guessing this is a strong echo from the song Home on the Range: "Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam, where the deer and the antelope play." All singular/plural words, in this case more technically collective usage, describing herd animals, the many considered as one. Sort of like God seems to consider us.
thank you
Thank you, Gloria and Charles.
