In french, tribute is more of a "forced contribution, a taxed imposed on" while in english, it might also be a payment, but also an acknowledgment of gratitude, respect or admiration. In this HL when God says He would like to WRITE a tribute, is it a mix of the two meanings since He gave us an assignment?

Do I have to take literally the meaning of "acorn" or is it part of an idiomatic expression" because I wonder why God uses such a specific word to express the idea that He loves absolutely everything, like every atom. Unless it is a word He likes.
