Heaven #3755 Bless You, World

Dear Gloria, in
http://www.heavenletters.org/bless-you-world.html

(third from last paragraph):

"To all things, love is the answer.

Yet what I mean by love may not be what you mean. I am speaking of a state of consciousness where all you can do is love in the sense of more abstract overall love. I do not mean going around and doing errands of love. By all means, do errands of love yet do them with a full heart. Do not do them to show yourself that, after all, you are a good person."

I have difficulty in making the transition between the first sentence "I am speaking of a state of consciousness…" and the second sentence "I do not mean going around" and then with the third sentence: "By all means…'" It is like if a sentence was missing between the first and the second sentence. Or I would expect a "I do mean…" after the " I do not mean going around…"

Could you kindly clarify for me?

Thanks

Dear Normand, I may not be

Dear Normand, I may not be able to make a suggestion this time since I don't see the difficulty. Could you be more specific in what you think is missing or doesn't quite fit together?

Let me recite those sentences and just put them a little differently:

What I mean by love may not be what you mean.
What I mean by love is a state of consciousness where all you can do is love in the sense of more abstract overall love.
What I do not mean by love is going around and doing errands of love.

Does that make any more sense?

I think that in the first

I think that in the first phrase God speaks about love, as a state of consciousness, where you are BEING Love, just letting Love live through you. Love doesn't mean going around and doing nice things for people in order to show that you are loving. Let Love just BE and flow through you.

Love,
Paula

I understand your

I understand your interpretation and Jochen's. I agree with them. It is just the logical construction of the whole paragraph that sounds to my ears as loose ended. It is just that something would need a little more development and suddenly it is interrupted. Sorry guys, it is only because of my french twisted logic minded sentence sequencing. In french, we sometimes have to use repetitions to make the stitching smoother. We are a little obsessed with clarity.

What if we put a your in

What if we put a your in this sentence as follows: "I do not mean your going around and doing errands of love."

I think that you, Paula, and Jochen are all doing fabulously.

The way I read it is: "I am

The way I read it is:

"I am speaking of a state of consciousness where all you can do is love in the sense of more abstract overall love." [This state of consciousness has nothing to do with] going around and doing errands of love. [But,] by all means, do errands of love yet dothem with a full heart. Do not do them to show yourself that, after all, you are a good person."

But your suggestion and Jochen's can do.

I do see what you mean, dear

I do see what you mean, dear Normand.
