Guilt No More

God said:

Guilt is not honorable. It is a repeated appraisal. It is ego supreme. You punish yourself with guilt, as if punishment would erase error. Erase the concept of guilt. Erase the concept of sin, and guilt will evanesce.

Who are you to lend so much importance to what you see as error? In terms of the whole configuration of the universe, you cannot say with certainty what error is. You see only such a small part of life. Merely the twitch of a horse's tail.

You would be of greater use to the universe by patting yourself on the back. When you berate yourself, you berate the universe. You are a created Being. Do not lash what I created.

Step over your so-called errors. Leave them behind. Leave them alone. Do not carry them with you. Guilt keeps your errors precious, as if errors were jewels to be taken out lovingly, polished and yet admonished for not being a different jewel in a different setting.

You make an altar of guilt, as if the disturbance called guilt were a wonderful offering to the Creator. Offer Me something else. Offer Me anything else.

Guilt is imposing. It is self-imposed. If you are a train, guilt derails you.

Consider what the world would be if there no sense of guilt upon its face. What mountains would move? What rivers would flow? Where would crime exist? Who would be downtrodden? Who would stay locked to the pavement? Whose heart would not soar? What lightness there will be without the hammer of guilt. What rejoicing there would be at the death of guilt. Rejoice now, for guilt is an imagined punishment. Even if you committed an unimaginable deed, walk on from it. Your heart has bled enough.

You have better things to do with your life rather than stewing in it. Pour libations, not guilt. There is nothing to admire about guilt.

How much of your life have you mistakenly spent on matters of guilt? Sense of guilt goes back a long way. Guilt only goes back. And you keep finding reminders. Find reminders of something else.

You don't need guilt. Therefore, you do not need absolution. Absolve yourself now.

My verdict is that you are innocent. I sentence you to love. Love three people today. Give them a silent gift of love so that their day may be better and their guilt over the past be less.

I sentence you to drop off surprise gifts to the world today.

I sentence you to bless the world today. I sentence you to bless yourself first. I sentence you to scatter blessings on yourself foremost. Blessings upon yourself will fall everywhere. Once blessed, you are a blessing-giver, not a guilt-assumer. Where can guilt live when blessing leaves no room for it?

Let blessings be rampant.

Know once and for all that you are a blessing. I blessed the Earth with you. I did not send you to repress love. I did not send you to repress love for yourself and to cover it with guilt. I did not create guilt. I created you, and I created you as love. Fall not far from the tree of your Father.

Take guilt by the tail and toss it out the window. You have been too familiar with it. Let guilt be forgotten. Guilt has overstayed its welcome. Welcome it no more. Welcome love instead. Love for yourself is still love. Love yourself, and you will be a great giver of love.
