Duplicated translations

Hello to all!!
I would like to know what system translators use to ensure that two translators do not translate the same Heavenletter! What is the best way to avoid duplications?

the very basic step would be to do a simple search for the # of the Heavenletter. A list of the translations in different languages will appear (+questions from the translators on the Global Translators forum, but these questions are usually addressed to the original english Heavenletter).

Thank you for your feedback, Normand. Actually, I'm a Spanish speaking translator and yes...we're more than one. That was the reason for my question. Will consider this information for future translations to ensure there are no duplications.

Dear Lourdes and Gloria, you just gave the confirmation I needed through my question. If Jean-Christophe and I, as a pair of french translators, can make you some suggestions, start communicating by emails with the other spanish translators (how many are they?). Then establish a weekly or monthly schedule.
Jean-Christophe and I, for example, adopted the following schedule: he does three translations in a row and I do three. If, according to circumstances, one cannot do one or more of his translations, the other takes over. JC has been in India since the past 10 days so I told him to enjoy his trip and not worry about the translations. When I am stuck somewhere in the world where I cannot have a decent (or none at all) Internet connection, I can email or call JC to give me a hand.
And it has been working seamlessly since about a year. But according to the number of spanish translators, you will work out something that is adapted to your need. It is just a matter of thinking as a team rather than as isolated translators

Gloria, I think we can do something similar. This can work for Spanish translators as well, what do you think? How many Spanish translators are there actually?
