Dear Gloria - I need a pause.

Dear Gloria,

I need to stop translating Heavenletters for a while. Lack of time, lack of will. These months ahead are going to be very busy for me.

I've seen with Normand, he won't be able to translate Heavenletters each day. So I apologise in advance to French readers, translations won't be available as it used to be, alas.

Nevertheless, I wish you the best: these letters have changed me, it's a great work, I can not thank you enough for this.

Jean-Christophe.

Beloved J.C.,From the first

Beloved J.C.,

From the first day you arrived here, you pitched right in. You gave more than anyone could have asked. It is a great accomplishment you made, translating so often and deeply, right from the beginning. We love translations and translators. They are all a gift, Jean-Christophe. You are a gift. You gave fully from your heart the first instant you appeared.

And now you feel burned out. Perhaps you were giving more energy than you were receiving..

Take a good rest. And when a Heavenletter has a particular appeal to you, feel free enough to see if you would like to translate it. Let translating be a joy rather than an obligation.

I would like to keep the door open, beautiful soul. Please keep in touch and let us know how you are.

Jean-Chiristophe, what can Heavenletters do to help you,. my friend? A personal question to God? Please do not hesitate to ask.

God bless you always.

With all love,

Gloria on behalf of the spectacular Heaven team.

P.S. I just want to mention for Heavenreaders that Normand had some serious open-hearrt surgery. He had a magnificent recovery. Normand translated I forget how many Heavenletters ahead, and Jean-Christophe was right there, without question, to give the French subscribers their translations. Both Normand and Jean-Christophe are Heaven heroes. Thank you.

Accomplishment on the level of form

Dear Jean-Christophe,

I think you made the right decision in choosing to respect yourself, to respect what you felt as a deep inner need. When pleasure turns into effort, sense of guilt, it doesn't help anyone. Life changes for each of us. Translating Heavenletters can be a good way to give meaning to life (for those who can) but we must not try to fill in a hole with some accomplishment on the level of form. Even Heavenletters are transitory. We have to realize that a sense of separation from God is the only lack we really need correct. All the rest (the words, and the world) is metaphor.

In a practical perspective, perhaps we should send a letter to the french subscribers telling them that the "daily french Heavenletter translation" won't be available as long as we won't find a new translator who would be ready to take on part of the translation with me.

What do you think?

Beloved Normand, good idea

Beloved Normand, good idea for a note. When you and J.C. write such an email, rather than say what there won't be, will you say when daily translations will be available again, something like as soon as Jean-Christophe returns or another French translator comes on the horizon, once again we will be pleased to send you daily Heavenletters™. Let them know how important they are to us etc.

In the next Heaven News, I will mention that we welcome a third French translator.

God bless you two.

With love,

Gloria
