confırmatıon mails
Posted June 7th, 2007 by Engin Zeyn...
dearest Gloria,
I want one of my friends to be a subscriber. I made her application. But she has not received the confirmation mail. Is not this confirmation process automatic? If so, I think it does not work for Turkish...

Dearest, I did pass this on
Dearest, I did pass this on to the tech angels.
For my understanding, is she receiving Heavenletters?
Give me her name and email address privately, and I can go to the data base. I can enter her as a subscriber if she is not already there.
Thanks a bunch, dear one.
With love and blessings,
Gloria
ENGIN Canim Gloria, no she
ENGIN
Canim Gloria, no she is not receiving Heavenletters. Sometimes I send her.
Her e-mail address :Yagmur [dot] Atalik [at] pmintl [dot] com
Name: Canim Yagmurcum
:))))
Dearest Angel, I went into
Dearest Angel,
I went into the data base and entered her email address. However, something isn't quite right because the place where I would enter her name was not available to me nor was the place where I check what languages a persons wants.
So there is definitely some problem, and I will bring this new aspect of it to the attention of the tech angels right now.
Meanwhile, canim Engin, you are sending them to her so she has them for now?
With appreciation,
Gloria
Her subscription has been
Her subscription has been updated. She should start receiving by tomorrow. Let us know if not.

Subscription confirmation
Subscription confirmation emails after subscribing only gets sent 45min after a person subscribes. This may be why Canim did not notice the confirmation link.
I did a test and signed up for the Turkish language newsletter. Everything worked fine except that the welcome letter is in English! :big
Heaven Admin, if beloved
Heaven Admin, if beloved Engin translates the Welcome Letter into Turkish, will new Turkish subscribers then automatically receive the translated Welcome Letter in Turkish? I know that Engin is out of town just now, but how should we do this? Should the Welcome Letter be translated into every language? Should we have someone hand-send the letter to new subscribers? What is the simplest way to do this that is good for all?
With love and blessings,
Gloria
P.S. Is it okay for people to know Heaven Admin's name?
Senora, This thought did
Senora,
This thought did arise about translated welcome Heavenletters. Yes when Engin comes back lets ask her if she would like to translate. Before we do that, lets also revise the welcome letter and then post it up in the translators forum.
Presently the newsletter software does not have a way to send out language specific welcome letters, but thats not going to stop us.
