Gloria to God:

Dear Father in Heaven, I am awake early. It is 3 a.m. now, and I can't get back to sleep. What would You like to tell me?

God:

Certain is the dawn. Always the other side of the mountain. Change is the given.

Change is brewing for you also. It is on the horizon. And you tremble. More of My gifts streaming to you, and you shake.

It is like you have 50 cents, and the arrival of $10.00 makes you flutter. At the thought of $10 million, you faint away. That which you desire shakes you in your boots. And that puts you on edge.

You waver on the brink of gold.

What if you have more of Me? What if all your dreams came true? Would you feel unaspired and vacant of desires? Would fulfillment be uncomfortable? Are you so accustomed to wanting that having would throw you off?

A year from now, your whole life will be remodeled. You fear being uprooted, but how else can you venture to full Heaven?

You don't want your life to stand still, and you fear change. What a predicament. What a human predicament. You want everything, but you also want to keep everything as it is.

The joker here is that there is no real change. You will be with Me still. You will hasten your work for Me. You will have greater happiness. It is like what a sage has said. You are moving into a mansion, and you cry, "My hut, my hut!"

When you are out there promoting HEAVEN, you are the same. You cannot hide forever. I desire you to be seen. As a result of seeing you, eyes will open, hearts surge, and Heaven open up like the sky after a cloudburst.

If you, established in Me, sit on a train, or speak before a group, or appear on Oprah, what is the difference between that and being at home WHEN I AM WITH YOU EVERYWHERE?

If I invite you for a walk, will you not go? If I say, "Invite some friends to go with you," will you not invite them? If I say, "Look to the left," or "Look to the right," what is the difference when it is my request and you follow it?

You are no longer driven by your small desires. You have one desire, and that is to follow Me, and I am telling you to enrich the world.

If I asked you to be less than you are, if I asked you to not help Me, then you would have cause to fret.

But God says to you, "I have a few little things I would you to do. Will you help Me? Come here, I'll show you."

It is so simple. I will lead you. I do lead you. I take you by the hand, and I show you the way, and nothing is different except you are a step closer to Heaven.

I do not take you to the edge of a cliff to look down. I take you to a mountain top to look above. So, you fear heights? You fear the thought of heights. Heights you will love.

Do you feel you will fail? Do you feel you will become vain? Do you feel you will succeed, and what then?

Gloria is scared to fly.

But flying is easy.

It is the moment before takeoff that makes you tremble.

What if I told you that that moment has already passed, and you are already in the air? What then, Gloria?

You would then merely enjoy the view, and that is what I ask you to do. Enjoy the view.

Calm down.

Converse with Mother Divine.

Do your meditation.

And sometime today, write your birthday wishes from the depth of your heart, not the surface.

"I offer my miracles today, for I would have them be returned to me…here on earth, the miracle is closer to Your gifts than any other gift that I can give. God:

Gloria, you will offer what you have received. And you have received Me. You cannot keep Me to yourself but will share Me with the selves in the world.

Gloria to Mother Divine:

Dear Mother Divine, what do you say to me at 4 a.m. this morning?

Mother Divine:

I would say that you have been woken up. An alarm went off!

You have accepted citizenship in the world. Citizen of God's creation.

Write your wishes right now so you don't forget.

Gloria:

That I do God's Will and make Him glad.

That Lauren and Sunshine and Ginger are in supreme health, and I too.

That this be Lauren's year of happiness, and that her dreams come true. They already are starting to.

That there be peace on earth as in Heaven. That there be no suffering anywhere.

That HEAVEN have the right agent/publisher.

That I have financial independence.

That I am more independent altogether.

That everything falls into place easily.

That I have no fears.

That I leave all my smallnesses behind.

That I eat less and lose weight in an easy healthy way.

That I have great energy and that I sleep well at night.

That everything be easy, everything fall into place.

That I let life unfold.

That I arise to the occasion, whatever it is.

That I make right decisions — or make them right.

That I have more awareness.

That I meet more people of my spiritual family.

That I spread God's Light and bring people to Him.

That I be unselfish.

That my vision expand.

That I perform spontaneous right action.

That I keep my environment neat and uncluttered.

That I keep up with the yard and garden.

That I live in the present.

That I enjoy whatever I am doing.

That I not be attached.

Have I left anything out?

Mother Divine:

Probably, but you can always add it.

Gloria:

That I continue to hear from you and God daily.

Mother Divine:

It will be impossible for you to not.

Gloria:

Dear God, today is summer. Magnolias are in bloom. It is really hot. Iowa has about two weeks of spring, and then it's summer!

God:

But you know that the climate of the heart is what matters.

Gloria:

Dear Mother Divine, checking in with you!

Mother Divine:

I have checked in to see how you are doing all day. You had a nice birthday lunch with John and Joyce.

Gloria:

Yes. Thank you for everything, dear Mother Divine.

Mother Divine:

Thank you for your companionship, dear daughter.

Gloria to God:

Dear God, Karen called me tonight. She had been out of town, and I was so happy to hear from her. She asked me how I was, and I told her fine. She said she always knows when I'm lying, so she asked me again, and I told her so-so. She said I have been unable to tell people what I feel. She also expressed that the sensitivity I was feeling this week was my father's self-doubt stuck to me. She went right in and removed it.

She said something about her mission being to show others and teach people how to deal with life. I asked her then what mine is. She said it is simpler than hers. She said I emanate what faith is. She said my truth is devotion, and devotion is my gift. She said I will teach others to have more confidence in themselves and their connection to You.

Karen always gives me so much more understanding. What I gather is that gift and mission are the same. Whatever someone's gift is, that is their mission.

Dear God, what a gift You have given me. Devotion. Who could ask for more? Karen said I am Devotion. Well, she is too. Thank You.

God:

Devotion is knowing Me. It is not an act of will. It is not following certain steps, and it is not a practice. It is. When someone has red hair, she is a redhead. Dyeing hair red does not make you a redhead. It makes you a pretend redhead.

When you are devoted, you are devoted. It is nothing to assume or put on. It is a kind of gratefulness, Gloria. Saying thanks doesn't make you thankful. Devotion is truth from the heart.

You did not desire to become devoted. You desired to know Me. One can desire to be devoted, and one can become devoted. It is a gift I offer to all, but it has to be truth in order to be devotion.

Devotion is My nature. The closer one is to Me, the more does devotion strum their heart.
