What You Have Been Waiting For

God said:

Regardless of the room in your heart that is left remaining to grow, you are at your prime now. Today you are. This morning you are. Wake up in the morning and remind yourself that you are at your prime. You are greater today than you were yesterday. You are greater today than you have ever been. Even when you don’t feel fantastic, remind yourself of how good you are, and see the new nuances that crop up as you deal with life. This idea of your being more today than you ever were will make you stand taller, your shoulders back, your head high. At least an inch taller. You are more today than yesterday. That has to be. You are rising higher day after day.

Here’s the point, beloveds: You are becoming better and better, greater and greater, marvelous and more marvelous. There is more prime to come. Definitely, more prime to come. Meanwhile, you are at your prime today.

This is the day I have set before you, and you taste of it. Whatever the weather, you have been upgraded. Today there is a new and better you. Yesterday you had gained on yourself as well, yet today you grow higher yet. You are someone who grows and grows and never stops growing.

Although you have those days when you think you are going backwards, still, you must have some recognition that you are learning every day. You have gleaned what you were to glean from this day. Willing or not, you gleaned it.

And now you close the door on yesterday, and now, today, you go through a taller door where the ceilings are higher and mirrors reflect you. You can feel how you will lift off today. Today you will rise to new heights. This can only be so because today is today, and that is what today is for.

Today could be the day you are waiting for. You may have lived for this day your whole life. You may not really know what you have been seeking day after day, and, yet, today, you could come across it. What you have been seeking may come rushing to you, and your heart leaps, and you say in awe: “Yes, this is the day I have been waiting for. The day has come. It is here. It has found me.”

How you will frolic on this day!

Maybe you have been waiting for Me to suggest that you be eager for the day the morrow brings. To Me, it is obvious for you to be elated at the thought of what tomorrow may bring. One of these days coming up, you will jump out of your shoes at the joy that is yours. The joy that awaits you is yours. It has been waiting for you as much or more than you have been waiting for it. The day knows when its plum is right for the picking. You have to be eager, and you have to wait both. You can only find out and receive as each day rises and slips beyond the stars.

I give you an ironclad guarantee that this auspicious day is on its way to you. And when this auspicious day arrives, you are going to be so happy.

And, then, after that day, there will be another great day in the offing, another great day that will raise you to new heights, and another day for you to sing from the rooftops: “This day has come. It has come for me. It has given me itself filled with what I have always been waiting for.”

After so many todays and tomorrows, more than twenty three thousand days of looking out for that happy day, waking to another day of too much work and trying to fend off the sense of humdrum going with that, it is hard to believe on some of those many days that one of them will see this arrival. However, without Heavenletters and their dear Author, I would not even remember that feeling of looking up from the wide and gleaming eyes of a child hearing a promise that squeezes his heart with almost too much joyous anticipation.

Kay, I believe we need to take this journey thing with a grain of salt. I have certainly tried to believe I'm well on my way and close to reaching something. In a way that may even be true. You have seen a lot, tried a lot, perhaps you even are what they call an "old soul". But Heavenletters are very gently taking this from or hands, item after item, lots of them. They keep telling us that we, all of us, are the same single step away from God, even less than a step, there is no distance at all. They keep telling us that it takes no spiritual training or anything at all to step into God – just the willingness and some courage and, of course, the desire, the intent. We are just not used to such an accessible God Who requires nothing, that's all. We like to prove ourselves worthy. He just looks on smiling, imperceptibly shrugging His shoulders.

Yet sharing our heart on this forum the way you do can be very helpful to yourself and others. Heavenletters remain the mainstay, of course. After all, they are speaking your heart, aren't they?

As usual, with this kind of Heavenletters, I am always confused about which timestamp to use as a reference.
I asked myself: what day have I been waiting for? What was it that I have been waiting for? It might be many things so that I cannot really figure out what precisely I have been waiting for and that thing is on its way to me.

The only real thing I think I have been waiting for is to reach that state of heart, soul and mind called the end of illusion, which is the beginning of Eternity. I really mean the eternal vision without any illusion. Even if I now know that it has always been mine, I still have to go through the process of believing it is mine. This process I call salvation or redemption. Salvation from what?

Well, we all know and admit that something has gone wrong somewhere: we suffer and die. We also tend to blame God for letting the world suffer, little innocent children being sacrificed, bad guys enjoying a good life, good guys not receiving what they deserve, etc. There is certainly a need for a corrective change. We perceive a conflict between God's Thoughts and our thoughts.

God says it is impossible for us to be out of Him. And this is the Truth. But it also happened that we found ourselves out of Him. So we are not out of Him but we suffer and die. Those two systems of thought imply a thing impossible (separation) but yet which has occurred resulting in a state of conflict perceived between what is (Truth, God's Will) and what could never be (illusion is without any meaning). It is this state of conflict that is the source of pains and sorrows and death. All the world of pain and death is not God's will. Would God want pain and sorrow and death for His beloved Son? What about free will then?

So, in a certain way, Truth and illusions both are equal now, for both have happened. It is the impossible thing (the separation) that we need salvation from. And it is this impossible thing that we need forgiveness for. So there is a space, a meeting place, between Heaven and Earth, probably within our mind, where Truth and illusions both exist, for a certain time. The truth, residing in us, is held inviolate, yet there is a space occupied by illusions.These illusions have to be undone. Even if illusions are not real, they have existence because they are thoughts. And we all know now that thoughts, through our divine heritage, are powerful and can create reality or illusion. If our thoughts match God's will, they create, if they don't match God's Will, they fabricate illusions, fiction, mostly drama. God teaches us, through ALL Heavenletters, that His Thought is the One that brings illusions to the truth, and sees them as appearances behind which is the changeless and the sure. This is the Thought that redeems and forgives ourselves and our brothers because it lays no faith in what is not created by the only Source it knows.

God is always giving us, daily, the Only Thought whose function is to save us by giving us its function as our own. And this Thought, we can make it ours, right now. That is when Earth's time meets Heaven's Time. That is "when?" and "Present" make One. This is the day I was waiting for. This is the day of intention.

This is the day the miraculous moment in which all time stands still. This is a miraculous moment in which a minute spent in using God's Thoughts becomes a time that has no limit and that has no end. The only real day is the day of the intention to see. This function is from now on MINE. This is the day I decide it is.

A metaphor to consider

Just know that your comments were carefully considered and appreciated.

As I was reading your comment on today’s Heavenletter, some of what you had to say brought to mind a metaphor that has been helpful for me. Particularly provacative a was your phrase: “So, in a certain way, Truth and illusions both are equal now, for both have happened.” In case it may be useful, here is the idea. Imagine that who we are is like a computer user or operator. This operator would correspond to the Truth of us; you could say it is our Higher Self or even a ray of God’s Heart that resides deep in our mind and soul. Then imagine that our mind and body are the interface a computer operator uses to provide access to the information that resides in the computer’s memories and on the internet, etc. In this metaphor, the physical reality of our universe would be a sort of virtual reality that exists only because of the actions of the operators of these computers. The valuable use of this metaphor, to me, is to see how we might exist as a spiritual being while using the mind/body interface to also exist within the physical world, a world which is only an illusion purposefully created by our consciousness.

As with all such metaphors, this one is far from perfect, but it may be useful in thinking about these very complex issues.

The metaphor you exposes is also thought provocative. Certainly the idea of a computer operator (namely the Higher Self) using the mind and the body to "generate" virtual reality with the information already in the computer's memory and in the "outside" world makes sense. I just wonder if the operator is the original Higher Self or the self that decided to become the personal self. Because the first virtual reality was surely instantly "created" the exact moment when the thought of separation arose. And perhaps the mind and the body were also created at that very moment.

Consequently, what constitutes the virtual outside world is a projection of a mind that thinks it created itself then forgot about it by projecting itself in its own virtual reality. And that is what we came, through a long process so-called "evolution" — which is also probably virtual — to call the objective world with its scientific laws. Our physical laws are linear in the space-time continuum. Despite the breakthrough of quantum physics, we still believe since Einstein that the speed of light has a limit. But what light are we talking about? A reflected light most probably.

I will try to stay concise. What if the body was the end product of the original mistake of separation? If the body is the physical embodiement of the ego, it appears then that the body was the ultimate retreat for the ego, where it would be able to operate without the intervention of the mind.

Paradoxically the body is what has made us forget what is the most natural to us: our Sonship with God. The body conditions the mind to fragment, and then to be concerned about the truth of just a little part of the whole. The recognition of the part as whole, and of the whole in every part is perfectly natural because it is the way God thinks, and what is natural to Him is natural to us (so should it be).

The Higher Self should be operating a holographic computer. But then what is the use of creating a virtual physical world if holography demonstrates you that the world is an Idea, a Thought and that physical reality is an illusion?

By changing our way of thinking the relation between God's Mind and our personal mind, there is a chance that our body and our mind will respond to holographic messages because then the body will become a real divine device of communication and not a safe where our personal thoughts and relationships are kept private and secrete.
