The Moon of the Year

God said:

You know that time is only relative. You know that sometimes time goes fast, and sometimes time goes slow. It seems to you that New Year's day was only a short while ago, and yet somehow, the moon of the year is waning, and the illusory year is almost over. Like only another minute to go. Time seems to speed up more and more. Hang on for the ride even as time stands still, for time is not. Blocks of time do not really exist. Time is an imposter that has you in its thrall.

You are drawn to time like a magnet. Time pulls you the way the moon pulls the tide. Time has asserted its rights over you. It has become a mainstay. The world runs on it. The world bows down to it. Even though time is a fantasy, the world bows down to it. All concur and meet in pretended time.

Look at Eternity instead. Look at Immortality. They are bigger than time could ever pretend to be, yet it is time that has captured your awareness. Time waits for no man, you say, yet in Heaven there is no time at all, no perceived time at all, no ravages of time. I suppose you could say that time is Eternity strung out on a clothesline. You could say that time is but a shadow of Eternity. Yet, really, Eternity is so vast, it cannot be hung up. Eternity is more like the air you breathe. Air is not visible, and yet you inhale and exhale it. I suppose you could say that time marks Eternity, or that time makes bubbles of Eternity, or time is Eternity rationed, or time is a brief shadow of Eternity, yet none of these suppositions are true, for there is no candle to hold nor candle to be beheld next to the light of Eternity.

And you are an Immortal. There is no time vested in Immortality. You are Eternal Being. Your body is a mere blip in the face of Eternity. You are naturally Eternal. Your body is a passing thing. And why would you ever want to keep your body forever when it is only a brushstroke that you are immersed in during this perceived juncture in Eternity called time? Time beats a gong. Eternity is silent. A gong imposes itself on the Silence. Time imposes itself on Eternity. And yet neither Eternity nor the Silence are affected.

Time is what it seems to take to eat a delicious pear, or not to eat a delicious pear. There is no time at all, and yet the world beats the drums of time. Time rings its bells, yet time is all bluster.

You can never run out of time, beloveds, for time is not. Timers there are, yet there is no time to run out of.

And yet on Earth, My children scurry to be on time and not to be late. Time is a scoundrel that beguiles you. Time is a con-artist. It would like to steal the show. Life on Earth is measured in time, and yet time does not exist. Time can never be captured. Eternity cannot be put into a change-purse nor can it be marked by the drip of a faucet. There are no moments. Clocks tick, but they tick nothing. Eternity cannot be measured, any more than the Reality of you can be measured.

Time is what it seems to

Time is what it seems to take to eat a delicious pear, or not to eat a delicious pear. There is no time at all, and yet the world beats the drums of time. Time rings its bells, yet time is all bluster.

In this world, there is cronological time, and unfortunately we have to accept it to act in it,
The problem is with psicological time (past and future), but if we focus our attention in the NOW, we realize the truth, that is, time doesn´t existe.

THE MOON OF THE YEAR

Dearest GOD, MAESTRO, CREATOR OF IMMORTAL SOULS, YOU MYSTIFY US!

We do admit to you that when YOU SAY 'TIME IS A GREAT IMPOSTOR, and time's bells and gongs are great noisy intrusions on Eternity, we take that in and are filled with awe!

YOU LOVINGLY TELL US OVER AND OVER AGAIN THAT WE ARE ETERNAL AND
IMMORTAL, but we think - just like Helen Schuchman who was the scribe for A COURSE IN
MIRACLES, ....for after she wrote down all those lovely words about HOLINESS LIGHTING
UP THE WORLD, she said, 'I DON'T BELIEVE A WORD OF THIS, BUT I KNOW IT'S TRUE!

All we can say in this Holy Moment of Eternity is THANK YOU FOREVER FOR EXTENDING YOUR UNDYING MERCY ON US!

Timelessness is our real nature.

Continuity of time is an illusion. Yet the time continuity illusion was essential to the survival of our separated self (of Ego). Space and time are the parameters of our experience in the gravitational field of Earth. But we are on our way of discovering that what we observe or perceive is not Reality itself but Reality submitted to our way of representing or describing it (cf. Einstein and Heisenberg).

Plainly stated, we see only discontinuous images of Reality that our mind tries to assemble in a pseudo continuous flow of coherence. Only fear makes the Ego hold to the illusion of continuity of time, because Ego is just a superposition of aspects of Reality and not a real continuity in time or a succession of stages or steps.

The Reality is that Universe and Time metaphorically arise and collapse at each Instant. Instant is total continuity and at the same time total break of continuity. Instant is Conscious Light where the time and the distance between our real Self and God is ZERO because in Light there is no space and no time. Divine Light connects everything in the Instant, where mass and energy are One. We could say that Time is not the contrary of Eternity. It is the dynamic deployment of Eternity or Timeless Instant.

When we establish ourselves in the Instant, that is Conscious Light, the question of death or immortality becomes irrelevant. But to access that level of awareness God suggests us to focus on Eternity and Immortality rather than time and death because time and death have captured too much our awareness and veiled the bigger picture.

How can a gong drown out

How can a gong drown out silence so easily? How is it that a gong does not itself drown in silence? Perhaps it does. When the sound of a gong does not "mean" anything, when there are no automatisms, thoughts and questions associated with it – like "Supper" or "Time for meditation" or "What is this?" – that is when sound and silence are the same and "when" time is not.

Time is in thinking and nowhere else. Who says that, as physical beings in a physical world, we have to think, we have to plan, we have to do? Only we say this. I never heard God say it, at least not in Heavenletters. Why don't we just live and die and live and die happily like our cats and dogs, no have-tos, no second thoughts and not too many first ones? Grocery lists don't have to disturb silence and timelessness, a conversation does not, composing a chaconne does not, a howling storm does not. Anxiousness, tenseness, urgency do. Thoughts springing from fear do. Fear is the end of innocence. Innocence doesn't end, of course, but the seeming end of innocence is the beginning of the sense of time.

Looking at myself, I realize how deeply enmeshed in time and in my belief in it I am. But sometimes, as in this Heavenletter, God strikes His gong for me, making me realize or half-realize silence and no-time for a "moment". The hair-raising sense I get right now is of life smothered by all the things I agreed to take seriously and am now dragging along as if they were possessions I need to protect. Although I'm still far from believing it, this is what I sort of know: Nothing is serious. Seriousness and time are identical twins.
