Swimming with God

God said:

Let's face it, beloveds. I am coming to the fore in your life. This is not always an easy transition for you. You might think it would be. You have desired this. You have desired to serve Me.

Perhaps We can compare this to joining your country's army. You volunteer, and then in the midst of training, you might do some kicking and screaming. All to no avail, because you're in the army now. Your choice was made. You made it gladly, and yet you still have rough edges to be sanded down.

You gladly enter into service with Me, and then you may question it. There is no turning back, yet you look back and perhaps long for the days when your only territory was the surface of life. Now you live in a vaster land. You are a pioneer here, not a settler, and venturing forth is not always comfortable for you.

I say, "Come to Heaven with Me." You rush to come, and yet you find some moats to cross, and you drag your feet. Perhaps you even say, "What have I done? What am I doing? I am such an ordinary man. I am out of my realm. God's realm is not mine. I don't see how I, with all my humanness, can possibly be any help to God. I am spinning and don't know what to make of the circles I'm going in."

You are moving fast. You can't get off, and yet you can hardly stay on. "When will I reach the ground and certainty of Heaven?" you plead. "God, You say I am already in Heaven, so, then, I ask you, when will I know that my feet touch ground? When will I feel the stability I believe You promised me? I feel like I am still swimming across the moat to Heaven, and I deeply, even desperately, yearn to reach the shore. I do not know that I can keep swimming."

When you feel like this, beloveds, then just be buoyed by the waves of My love. Float on them. Let Me bring you to shore. You have perhaps been trying too hard. Just let Me tow you to shore, tow you to shore in your realization.

Have the idea that crossing the seas of ordinary life is an easy thing to do. Simply come and relax in My arms. I hold you above water. You will not drown. You will walk out of the seas that you see as ponderous and walk onto dry land. You will reach the shores of Heaven before you know it. Seemingly suddenly you will be walking in a field of flowers, this field of flowers filled with such luminosity that you begin to gather where you stand.

Truly, beloveds, all that is needed for you to do is to gather where you are. No longer need you wade. You are just so used to swimming against the tide that you don't quite know what to make of giving yourself to the tide and letting it take you to the shores you have so long desired.

All you have to do in your conscious awareness is to live this minute in a bounty of love. Love is the sea you swim in. You have thought otherwise, yet now you can change your thinking. You have been swimming in thoughts when all you have to do is to swim in My love. What could be easier? What could be easier unless you make it hard?

Perhaps you think you don't know how to swim. I am teaching you, beloveds. Lean back. My arms of love gently enfold you, and there is nothing for you to do but to let Me bring your awareness to where I am and where you long to be.

This is so cool! I went

This is so cool! I went diving early this morning with ragged tooth sharks and the most beautiful sea creatures and I thought I was swimming in God's Ocean of Love! It was a nice surprise to see this title on the Heavenletter :)

The message in this Heavenletter is one that I can easily relate to at this moment.

Oceans of Love!

Swim or sink really isn't your choice, probably

Sweet author:
I was caught in a rip tide and had to be rescued some years ago. There were three of us swept out to sea. I thought i was a good swimmer until one of the men grabbed me to save himself. Soon a life guard came and pealed the man off my shoulders, put me on a float with the other guys and towed us to the shore. My thinking went from "What on earth can I do? to "This isn't so bad after all, in fact it's kind of fun." God's just like that, as mentioned in this excellent article. I'm learning to lean back into His arms of love that enfold me. Thanks
George

These letters are just so

These letters are just so divinely inspired I almost cannot believe it. The beautiful thing is that I of course totally believe it! Thank you. Both letters that I just read helped me so much with something that is happening in my life right now.

I understand that what

I understand that what resonates with us is what is already in our hearts, so Heavenletters are a reflection of you, Kelley.

It filled my heart to bump into you at the library today. :)

Swimming with God

To BE in the momentum of raised awareness and floating in Love of the Creator is to fulfill our destiny, and well deserved.
