HOW IT WAS ON THE RADIO

Dear Friends,

I’ve got to tell you about the internet radio show. Barbara Dixon was fabulous. If you were able to listen, you heard her beautiful voice. And she said the most beautiful and most sincere things about Heavenletters that ever could be said. I could have listened to her all night.

She read from Heavenletters, Love Letters from God, Book One, and she read fabulously. First she read God’s introduction and later she read this from Lift Your Wings, p.40:

“How do you fly, My angels? You lift your wings and you move forward. You fly by no longer withholding flying. You keep yourself back no longer, for you were always a Being of flight. Instead of flying, you ran away. You were afraid to acknowledge your angeldom. And now you are ready to acknowledge the readiness of your wings and take flight.

“There is a current of wind that will come to your aid. You will be flying before you realize you are flying. You are asking how to fly when your feet have already left the ground. You are afraid to see. At the moment you see, you fear you will lose your innocent ability to fly. You have no ability to lose. It is Mine.”

And there’s more!

Barbara also mentioned how she stayed up until 1 a.m. reading the Heaven book, didn’t want to stop. Then she played the Heaven CD and fell asleep with it on.

Margaret Westlake, one of our moderators, sent in a question: Is there an on-line course of your "God-Writing Workshops" that people in California can take?

L. C., a Heavensubscriber from Reno, Nevada, asked: “I would love to learn about hosting a Godwriting workshop. What do I need to know? : )”

Gary Schineller, www.hellofrommyheart.com who introduced Barbara to Heavenletters, asked: "Everyone talks about love. Songs sing about love. We've all said, I Love you. What does God say Love is?"

I’m sorry the questions never got on. I will write to L.C. in Reno to answer her question about workshops. (Incidentally, I was married in Reno, Nevada!) The answer to Margaret’s question is we don’t have an online Godwriting course. And Gary’s question – does someone know the answer? I simply don’t know. I could look it up but I don’t know off hand. I should know. I’d better know.

Barbara sent me some of her books. Keys to the Kingdom, Opening to God as Source. And a journal that comes with it. Also Mastering the Art of Problem Solving, There is Always a Spiritual Solution. And a little book on the 23rd Psalm. Find out more about Barbara www.mindfulresolutions.com and www.bdmmg.com.

Barbara thanked Gary Schineller during the show for introducing her to Heavenletters (why didn’t I think of that?), and she also thanked Bernie Siegel for his tremendous foreword.

Barbara said she’ll have me back another time too.

Blessings and love,

Gloria

HOW IT WAS ON THE RADIO

Thank you for letting me know about the radio program. I did listen, although I missed some at the first, and it was very sweet to hear your voice. It was also good to hear Barbara's love of the HLetters coming through.

I am drinking up the first two e-books with so much joy. The first letters are just as wonderful as the latest ones, of course. What a gift to the world, making these letters available to anyone by the hat!

What is Love?

I'm sorry I couldn't hear the transmission but I'd like to reply to the question about Love. This is a quote from a Matthewbook by Suzanne Ward, I know it's not from Heavenletters, but as God speaks through all of us, I think this is equally valid:
Quote:
In simplest terms, love is God's sharing of Himself with all of His creations. Love is the healing force of the universe. Love is within the soul and needs only your allowance of those innate sensations of loving others and receiving their love for you. Love has no limitations, no boundaries to its capacity.

In expression, love is treating others with kindness, fairness, honesty, compassion, helpfulness, caring. If love can be said to have "ingredients," then those are some of the ingredients of godly expression in action.

Knowing that you and God and every other of God's creations are inseparable is love. Knowing that Earth is a sentient, conscious life herself and respecting all of her life forms is love. Realizing that no one can know others at soul level and therefore does not judge them but rather does not condone an action seen as injurious, is love.

Listening to one's godself is love. Living the kind of life that engenders loving self is love. Feeling joy yourself when you see it in others is love. Doing something that brings joy to another is love. Forgiveness of self and others is love. Sharing your resources with full heart is love. Doing good deeds without attaching expectations is love.

Feeling peace of heart and mind is love. The quiet thrill of seeing a sunset or hearing a songbird is love, and a smile is one of the simplest and most radiating expressions of love.

In any or all of these instances and many others that you may encounter that instinctively you know are love in action, you are manifesting your love for and of God.
