My life is a miracle......

In 1987 I was diagnosed with Undifferentiated Connective Tissue disease .... which gradually morphed into mostly Lupus. This is not an unusual progression.

In May of this year I celebrated three years in remission. Praise God! As I look back I see God has been with me all along my journey back to health. Some folks would relegate some things that happened to being mere coincidences... But I know it wasn't coincidence..... it was God.

It was not coincidence back in 1987 when I ran into my doc friend Rhody on the stairs at the hospital. It wasn't coincidence he insisted (after hearing the sounds my knees were making) that I get labwork done. Other things had been happening for which I had not put 2 + 2 together. I didn't know anything about Lupus back then. But God knew. That labwork found my auto-immune problem right before it really hit.

It was not coincidence in 1993 when my friend Darlene came into our lupus support meeting all excited about this doc she'd found. His investigational drug she said was going to be our salvation. At the time I was just about to be forced to go on disability. What was the chances I would have heard of a little known private research clinic 1500 miles away in Houston? What was the chance of my being one of only 35 people in the investigational drug trial? There's 2 million lupies.......

It was not coincidence each time I needed to go to Houston to check in with Dr B for the investigational drug trial.....that the funds to make the trip always appeared. That drug kept me off of disability.......

It was not coincidence I met Paula, my RN friend, who helped me with nutrition and nutritional supplements.

It's no coincidence I met my current primary care doc who is a great believer in nutrition and alternative medicine two years before I really would need her.

My docs felt I would be steroid dependent the rest of my life..... many times I was headed for a wheelchair and disability. That that did not happen was no coincidence.

Nope I don't believe in coincidence.....it was God taking care of me. Always.

Wishing you wellness and joy,

Petiesperson (Pam)

Beloved Petiesperson (Pam),

I thank God for taking care of you. You are indeed divinely loved. You have so rightly pointed out that it is God Who heals.

My understanding is that Christ did not see illness, his attention was not on it. He saw health, and that is how he healed. He did not describe illness, for then how could he have healed? And so we must do that too, focus on our health and let go of attention on illness.
Let go of the illness, darling. It is the past.

It is wonderful that you are healed. It makes us very happy that you are. And now you are bright shining light.

God bless you, angel.

With love,

Gloria
