Ease Your Heart

God said:

It is important that your heart be eased. It is important that you ease it. Whatever makes your heart tense, know that it is untruth. Tension is dependent upon untruth. The truth is that you are immortal. When you are immortal, what can befall you?

Your body is mortal, but you are not. Only you think you are your body. You mistakenly think that the physical dimension is the extent of you. And that is why you try to hold on to whatever it is you try to hold on to.

Light cannot be held. You can hold a candle, the conveyance of the light, but you cannot hold the light. It is unholdable. At the same time, it is everywhere, and cannot disappear. Just as you can never disappear.

You identify yourself with a name that was given to you. You think you are that name. You think you are the sound of that name in the wind. You think you are the reputation of that name. But then you would serve only public opinion.

And yet you know you serve greater than that.

You serve Me. Your service to the universe is your serving Me. But the world is not your master. You do not bow to the world, or then you would be serving illusion. Illusion is a poor master. It leaves you holding the bag. Illusion always rearranges itself.

With all your heart, you would serve Me if you but knew how.

Your life is that exploration of the how. And the how much.

The what is to serve Me.

The why is to express the truth of yourself to the insatiable world so that all can rise above the imagined boundaries.

The when is now.

The where is where you are.

Serve Me in your awareness.

Expand your vision, and the world will expand with you.

When you limit yourself, you limit the world.

Yours is to open the world to the wonder of itself.

Peel the layers off.

See what is within.

Let the finite know its infinity.

Let My Will be known.

Let My light be shown.

Let My light shine through you.

When you feel discouraged, you have taken your attention off your immortality. You have gotten yourself caught up in the details. The details have become important, and your reason for being has faded.

You have a great mission in the world. You are not here by accident. You are not here on earth just to live off it. You are not here to escape it either. You are here to find yourself again, to reconnect with the Wholeness from which you came. You are here to unburden the world. You are here to lift the cap off it.

How small is your vision when it is centered only on your body-self!

You locate yourself when you stop locating yourself in space and time. You are far more than a pin-point on a map. You are far more than your hand can reach and the eye can see. You are the limitless horizon beyond the line of the earth. And you are more than that.

You are sweep of My hand. You are the echo of My voice curling back to Me. You are the issuance of My breath. And you are My inhalation. You are My every thought. You are My pursuit. I am your reason for being, and you are Mine. We exceed. You are My passage through the world, and your journey is safe because there is nothing to pass through but the light of My love.

The gauntlet is imagined, for all is light and you are the bearer of it. You are My light on earth. So be it.

When you feel discouraged,

When you feel discouraged, you have taken your attention off your immortality. You have gotten yourself caught up in the details. The details have become important, and your reason for being has faded.

Oh, details! More than I can count. And more than I can manage without taking my attention off my immortality. How du you make details unimportant so you don't get caught up in them to the point where your reason for being fades? What if you are late but have to catch the subway and the ticket machine just won't accept your money and there is not enough left on your chip card? You get on anyway, trying to remember your immortality but preoccupied with the thought that they might catch you. Deadlines, things not working out, things breaking down at the most unvavorable moment – plus the crazy load of everyday normalcy, plus possible money issues, relationship issues, health issues...

Is this about trust? Trust that if I keep my attention on my immortality, not allowing details to make my reason for being fade, everything will work out just fine? It does sound unlikely, but it also makes sense somehow. Ok, I will intend a solution to come to me. There just has to be one. Embodied life can't be unmanageable.

to live or to manage?

Sorry to say that "this" embodied life IS unmanageable. To live in a body surrounded by "strangers" inevitably leads to laws and rules, bureaucracy, borders and documents, safety measures, money and relationships issues and eventually health problems. We check one another and get tangled in the safety web.
"Illusion is a poor master. It leaves you holding the bag."
We are slaves, let's admit it and the "discouragement" we feel says that this is not our nature. We accept to hold the bag until the lion in us will roar.

I tend to agree,

I tend to agree, particularly since I was born under that sign. Yes, the lion and the lioness will roar one day (after meowing and spitting for a considerable number or years), but what is she or he going to do next?

It depends on where he or she thinks slavery comes from, where passports come from, where the unmanageableness of embodied life comes from.

If the lion believes that manmade shackles like passports and natural ones like health problems are forced on her or him from outside, she or he is going to fight a war of liberation against outside forces: the makers of arbitrary rules and regulations, old age, God. History is the story of just that.

But if the lion starts finding it hard to believe that ancient tale of outside forces, seeing that if it were true, life would remain unmanageable for all eternity, he and she will begin to suspect that it's all his or her own creation/imagination, and the roar will go within. No one else hears it.

This does not look as entertaining and virtuous at first as waging a war against outside ralities and forces, but the lion and the lioness soon notice that their addiction to bitterness and fury lets up a little because it isn't fed any longer (although the craving for bitterness and fury may keep flaring up for a while, deeply embedded as they are).

I'm tired of war. I have always hated fighting, even when I was young. But I thought I had to fight like everyone conscripted, cannon fodder all of us.

Belief in outside forces is the slavery, the only one. Now back to our reason for being.

Of course we belong to that

Of course we belong to that school for "All is within". The lion roaring is not a war's cry against shadows, but the discovery and affirmation of his true nature. There is nothing else to do, as we are slaves of the illusion of being other than what we are. You roar and the illusion fades.

"Slaves of the illusion" –

"Slaves of the illusion" – that's a rather peculiar choice of words. Yes, we may feel that way, I know I still do quite often, but it's illogical and absurd, isn't it? My mind may still believe in slavery, but I don't have to. Who enslaved me? Whatever I answer to this question, on closer inspection it all turns out to be nonsense. There is no slavery, God says. God says there is only boundless freedom. I'd much rather have Him be right than my brilliantly dumb mind.

the illusion of slavery

Within the Grand Illusion lies a plethora of smaller ones.
We experience all of them, thus all we experience is nonsense in itself.

And love gently makes the

And love gently makes the non fade and then then sense and finally all assessing and judging. In something we truly love, is there sense or nonsense?

sense or nonsense

Love Is...senseless, wonderfully senseless.

Yes....Love is deliciously...wonderfully senseless

Thank you Emilia for this quote...............

Thank you to you Jim, you

Thank you to you Jim, you always recall some gem from the past...( I mean Heavenletters not me ).
Much senseless love to you, dear old friend.

Emilia, are you the gem

Emilia, are you the gem Emilia out of our past as well? Welcome back!

It's me

Hello Gloria, it's me yes and, to tell the truth, I am also 'Someone' who earlier had posted a comment to thank the french translator. It seemed, at first, that the system wouldn't let me post with my name, later on I saw that just with adding a dot to my name I could manage it and here I am. Thank you for your welcome, but, as a matter of fact, I have never been anywhere else!

This is happy news, dear

This is happy news, dear Emilia. Big hugs! XXXOOO
