By Intention

God said:

If only all your thoughts could be serene. Yet it seems that your thoughts are up for grabs. Thoughts seem to descend on you like raindrops, as if you have no choice of which thoughts you can accept or desist. Too often you are wide open to thoughts, at their mercy, so it seems. Make a decision now that you will be at the mercy of love. Any thoughts that do not fall under the category of love, reject them. Elude them. Boot them out. Turn away from them. Escape them.

And do you know what all the non-love thoughts seem to be about? They seem to be about fear in one form or another. Goodness knows, there are plenty of fear thoughts, fear of spilling something on your blouse, or falling down, or falling ill, to fear of dying suddenly or dying ever or fear of life altogether.

Beloveds, there is no fear worth having. The little fears add up to anxiety and depression. The bigger fears grow into panic. There are plenty of other thoughts you can choose.

It has been said that you cannot think two thoughts at the same time. So the cure for fear thoughts then would be to replace them with thoughts of love. I am not telling you to push away fear thoughts by dint of will. I am not telling you to mask fear thoughts. I am telling you to replace them. Make thoughts of love your habit. If you can stop smoking, you can stop fear in its tracks.

You find so many reasons to exalt fear and let it dominate you. Exalt love instead. Exalt the concept of love. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could always be aware of love and have cause for love?

One fear leads to another. Because of fear, you hide from fear, and then you fear that the fear will find you.

If you must fear, fear that you will love so much that there is no place for fear. Perhaps you fear you will be lost without fear. What will you occupy your mind with? What will you think about if you were fearless? I am telling you what you would think about. Instead of fear stories, tell yourself love stories.

If you find no person to love, then love the stars, love flowers, love night, love day, love a book, love a good cup of coffee. Endless are the choices of what to love. Love love.

The hardest thing to love seems to be yourself. Somehow you seem to see yourself as the bad guy or the weak guy or the misguided guy or even the good guy most unappreciated and overlooked or abandoned by the world. Never mind all that. Stop thinking about yourself and how the world seems to write you off. Be a write-in on the ballot, then, and be done. Think of what I know you to be. Trade in your picture of yourself for a new one.

Love the palm of your hand. Love your search for love. Love finding love. Love the next thing you see. Love the next person you meet. Everyone and everything you meet is a reflection of you. Truth there is, yet your thoughts are reflected in the relative world. It would seem that life is like a recipe you put together, a little of this, a smattering of that. Who puts in too much pepper in the sauce? Who but you, beloveds? Or too much salt in a cake? If you can put in a cup of salt by mistake, certainly you can put in a cup of sugar by intention.

Replacing thoughts by replacing beliefs.

We know we cannot fight incoming thoughts of grievance, anxiety, fear, anger, limitations, helplessness, etc. They pertain to our physicality, the dark side of the moon, and we chose physicality to demonstrate to ourself what we are not, we chose darkness to demonstrate that we are not darkness but light. This is really human specific.

So it is useless to spend our energy in fighting those thoughts that "seem to descend on you like raindrops." The more we fight them, the more we make them come real. Instead of fighting them, we have the "choice of which thoughts (we) can accept or desist". But where and how do we find the strength to replace all the thoughts that are not love with love thoughts? How can we reverse our thinking process?

Since our plunge into darkness and obliviance ended in a body, we have to emerge from the body if we want to emerge from darkness and remember. This does not mean we have to leave the body. But we know we cannot perceive the real light with the body's eyes. Therefore we have to instruct our mind that we are not a body.
But if we tell our mind we are not a body, the mind will certainly ask: "So what am I?"

We have to instruct the mind that what we think we are is a belief to be undone. The problem is not the body but our identification with its representation, its reflection or its image in our mind. Our body is our geographical map of the world, our GPS. Loosing it is loosing what constitutes our mythical identity. It is made of external data, references and links. This illusory image is the Veil that covers the Truth of what we are. We have to replace those acquired thoughts by undoing them. But what we really are cannot be revealed by our mind. God is here to reveal it to us or to remind it to us. It is the belief that we are a body that calls for correction because this is a mistake. The mistake is always in the perception, it has no existence in reality. Yet we have to go through the process of correction to realize that there has never been any mistake.

All thoughts that are not love are totally related to the belief that we are a body: sense of weakness, helplessness, limitation, doubt, illusion, darkness, fear, anger, problems in general, problems in relationships… Consequently, thoughts of love are totally unrelated to the body.

Therefore, if I am not a body, what am I? Can we accept the fact that since God is not a person, is not a body, He is Really an Idea? Because God shared Himself by creating us. And by sharing Himself, He did not loose but gained by expanding Himself. And only Ideas can be shared. "Do stars count themselves? There is star-ness. There is light. What other details are necessary to know? All you have to do is to look at a star, and you have deep knowledge of a star and all stars and the nature of stars." (#3727) And God, as an Idea, gives Himself completely.

So it is conceivable that God is an Idea. But what about "what am I?" I think we find extremely difficult to accept that, IN FACT, like our Father, we are also an Idea and it cannot be otherwise. But to accept ourself as an Idea, as an image of God, means that we are to give ourself completely, wholly without loss and only gain. But this is impossible to accomplish if we believe we are a body.

An idea that is totally, wholly and holy shared like God is a pure relationship which is a total commitment and pure communication. That is what «I AM», and we share our real Identity with I AM because it was God's will to share His Identity with His Son. What do all the problems of the world sum up to if not that we all feel or think we are "embodied" so we cannot share because sharing means loosing (Darwin's law of the survival of the fittest). We don't have faith in each other, for its ability to satisfy us completely, because, of course, we don't have perfect faith in ourself. And as long as guilt remains, this cannot happen. The only reason we have so little faith in ourself is because we are unwilling to accept the fact that perfect love RESIDES in us. "The hardest thing to love seems to be yourself". How can you give love if you don't believe it resides in you? So you seek love outside where it is not.

In the end, what is real relationship if not pure communication with all that ever was in that instant where nothing happens that has not always been? Is it not the Supreme Idea? Nothing has ever changed, it is only the veil of the embodied self-image that has obstructed our view. Yet, if we were not an Idea, and nothing else but an Idea, how could we be in full communication with All There IS?

Very well said and I share

Very well said and I share what you think. Only I think that this emerging from the body and merging into the Idea is accomplished, in the end, after all our tension and intention, by grace bestowed. In fact, without this factor, we would forever be in a vicious circle: we do not completely accept that "perfect love resides in us" because we do not see it and we do not see it because we do not accept and fully believe it.

Indeed and in fact, Emilia,

Indeed and in fact, Emilia, it has always been accomplished so it is always there. There is no vicious circle. Its presence is not caused by the fact we see it or not; its absence is not because of our failure to see it. It is only our awareness of it that is affected. You need light to see the light. You just can't see it in the dark. The perception of darkness is only the failure to perceive light. And all is by grace bestowed.

thank of your inergy,

dear Normand,
thank of your inergy,, you explanetion to as of God heavenletter,

We can choose to be positive

I am not telling you to push away fear thoughts by dint of will. I am not telling you to mask fear thoughts. I am telling you to replace them.

If a thought form is negative, then it's obviously nothing to do with us, dismiss it as you would an abberation, a glitch if you will, really, nothing to do with us.

Feer or FREE

Well-said, Smiley

Fear or free. You and God make it simple!

a cake

If you can put in a cup of salt by mistake, certainly you can put in a cup of sugar by intention.

Not in the same cake.

And since I haven't stopped smoking, maybe that's why I haven't been able to stop fear.

I have always wished for God to say something about serious deep fear learned right away when you come here. I even tried to provoke him. It's not going to happen. There is one Heavenletter that acknowledges the existence of this kind of fear but does not expand on it. The prescription, obviously, is the same anyway. Intend for love. And then intend some more.

By Intention

A very sweet and healing reminder. Thank you and blessings

Beloved Lance, I did a

Beloved Lance, I did a search and found where you have listed quite a few Heavenletters. I couldn't find this one, however. Hmm.

I love it that we -- you a heavy metallist -- and I -- a Godwriter -- are so sympatico.

The One Subject

What will you think about if you were fearless?

Seriously, what?

Nothing at all is what I sense I hear.
Thoughts about are born of fear and birthing fear.
There are other thoughts as well but they are not about.

Fearless, wo would ever think of counting anthers or calculating the mass of an electron or even looking for one? Put differently, who would ever desire power? Put differently still, who would ever need protection? Looking around in my study, I am awed by the paraphernalia of fear. Solidly ensconced in a cocoon of fear-born artefacts, of thoughts about congealed into things.

I imagine being fearless. Where there is fear there also has to be fearlessness. Which means I know fearlessness. Maybe even better than fear. Very likely better since it is prior to fear and thus does not really have the name "fearlessness" or any name at all. Before fear, even in a body I was busy walking with God, too busy (and too much enjoying it) to be able to think about. After fear, still in a body perhaps, I will be doing that again, maybe a little differently. Second innocence may be somewhat different, I don't know.

But in that second innocence, grown beyond fear, life and death will be so easy. No enemy, no adversity, the concept of problem unheard of again.
