There is no black and white. Nothing in the world is as it seems. Shadows are cast, but all is light.

You run everywhere, yet you are in place. You cannot go off the path. You think some paths don't go anywhere, but all paths lead to you, yourself, beloveds, and all paths lead to Me, Myself, the One and the Same.

Yes, life is circuitous. That is how all are connected to all. That is how there is no departing from the course of life. You may choose a particular depiction of your path with all its twists and turns, yet all paths end with Me. Not that they end, of course. They keep on going, and yet always from the outset, We were traveling together, and We travel still. We are walking with Our hands clasped right now, or perhaps My hand is on your shoulder. I think We are looking into each other's eyes right now. How far I see into yours! How closely I see the Vastness, and any distinction disappears. Here we are, even when you cannot see.

The thing is that I have a bird's eye view, and you do not. You are in the thick and thin of it, and so you, amidst the brambles and growth of reeds, you do not see. You have not yet risen to your full height. You have not yet quite dared to. You are hesitant to take your foot off first base.

Mostly you take My word for what I say, and yet the time is coming when you will see as clearly as I do. And then you will laugh and smile, take off your coat, and whistle as We walk. You will see the sights, and you will embrace them. Wherever you look, you will see. You will see YOU, and you will see Me. What you won't see is the difference. You will see Oneness, and you will know you are Oneness. You will see, and you will be the one who sees, and you will see yourself. You are the trinity. You are the whole ball of wax. The We of you is It, which is the same as to say, "God is." It is the same as to say "I AM" or "Oneness Alone Is" or "There is no you and I. There is no We. There is I. And I AM all there is. If I AM all, then I AM One. No longer is there someone else to talk to. There never was except in imagination. And Whose imagination was it? Whose could it be?"

I take you in circles. You spin. I make you dizzy with My puzzles, to be sure.

You like to think of Us as two. It is more companionable. You have been fighting aloneness all your life, even though you were never alone. It was impossible for you to be alone, but not impossible for you to think it.

And as you begin to see no difference between the One of Us, you will see the many combinations and shades of white and rumors of black, and you will leave more room in your heart and mind for your brothers who think and see differently from you, or so it seems. Nothing in the world is as it appears until you have the eyes to see, and soon, very soon, you will.

And then I will recline in a chair and look out at the Vastness, and I will see you, and you will see the Oneness of Me, which is the same as to say the Oneness of you, for there is no looking out. There is only looking within. Is it within Me or within you?
